i'd rather we had a new investor then a new chairmen

It is said that he is putting £¼M in. The maximum that anybody can put in is £½M under the current set-up.

so is Martin George out of the picture now then?

I think we can presume that he is still pulling a few strings.

Well lets hope this new chairman can put his say into the catering. The food down at the walkers gets worse by the game. FFS the ground is sponsored by a food firm and they serve up shite.............
Things must change.....

But maybe he is the type of individual / character that will attract new investment / investment sources, this has to be seen as the beginning of a bright new era. New chairman and new manager, lets hope that these two guys can be the ambassadors to take this club forward and onto the next level.

This is the turning point of our Club. This is the point where Leicester City FC once again becomes a force in the Footballing world. Mark my words.

No it's not. There's no maximum to the amount someone can put into the club, but no one's allowed to own more than 10% of the shares.

OK. I take your point. But it's hardly likely that anybody will want to put huge amounts into the club without receiving the appropriate number of shares in exchange. I am sure that you agree with me on that?

People have done this in football clubs before, but would generally agree with your point Boc, certainly the Foxes Trust wouldn't

I agree up to a point, but If someone really supports the club and has more money than they know what to do with why wouldn't they give it to the club as a donation?

People give money to all sorts of causes without expecting something in return, why should a football club be any different?

very few people around like that I am afraid. A lot of rich people give to charities that are registered and this is set off against tax. Giving to a football club and that would not apply. Our county is littered with very rich people and not many of them would give.
