I've just looked up the stats. Interestingly it took Morris a mere nine months to make his debut. He played 244 minutes of football in a frantic 8-week spell, then didn't play again before he left seven months later. Vassell, by contrast, passed the 244-minute mark at Bristol City - exactly a month after he signed. So that wasn't a bad guess, was it?

Nine months + 8 weeks + 7 months = about 18 months, you say.

My records have Morris at the club for more like 30 months; Feb 04 until Aug 06. Like you, I've got that he took 9 months (to the day) to make his debut; then 244 minutes of football in the months of Nov and Dec 04; but then an incredible *nineteen* months of nothing before he went on his way at the end of his contract.

Vassell should sue anybody that compares his availability with that of Lee Morris.

Yes, 19 months, that's what I said.

Ok, it's not. It didn't sound right when I looked it up. Turns out I just can't read.

Crikey I knew he wasnt really another Lee Morris.

We knew you knew. But there are some very impressionable people on here.

Sol Bamba is 25/1 with William Hill's to be first goalscorer.

Got to be worth 50p...

We're normally shite against bottom of the league and especially as they have a new manager...but despite all this I can see us thumping them 4-1 and building momentum for the game on Tuesday.

Greg Cunningham 22/1.

If you bet and win on a player to score first and the team to win 2-1 when the player never makes it off the bench do you still win on those odds?

Last weekend, I bet on Morrison to be 1st scorer and the result 2-1 to Man City knowing full well he had been sold by then. The odds were 500/1! Obviously I didn't win and lost my 50p bet but would I have won if it had come in??:102:

Your bet would revert to the correct score single (or words to that effect) ie your bet would be without the scorer.
