Possible delays for people going to Preston by train...


There's flooding on the West Coast Mainline in the lake district, and no trains are running between Carlisle and Lancaster.


This doesn't seem to have had an impact on trains going north into Preston so far, but it might cause a few problems as the day goes on with trains being cancelled or delayed.

I spoke to City's ticket office just after 9 who told me that you can pay on the gate today. So I am on my way!

Had to laugh at Jeff's post about the postonement though as on the train to Manchester, opposite a Man City fan .
