I have been thinking something for a while and it is perhaps a bit controversial...It’s just been pointed out to me that the 100 days of mourning ends on Thursday. Maybe that might be the time.
It's either now or the end of the season. 10 days without a game is ideal. 7 defeats in our last 10 games, including getting dumped out of both cup competitions, should be it.
However, I'm not sure if there is anyone there to make the decision and bring someone new in. Vichai made all the big calls. I don't trust anyone else to do that.
I also don't think it makes sense to recruit a new manager mid season. You only do it if you're sure the man you get is the right one, or you're desperate. And we're neither.
It doesn't make logical sense. In the summer, Benitez, Rodgers, Wagner, etc. will all be available. Many more besides, possibly even the likes of Conte or Jardim. The structure of the club will be more settled.
I don't want to watch another Puel led team but the only logical alternative is a caretaker. Who on earth makes sense there? Nobody I can think of.
Pearson the only one that you could install in that way.

he's doing quite crap in Belgium, far worse than Puel is doing herePearson the only one that you could install in that way.
And I definitely don’t fancy that.

there's no way he'd take it under those circumstances, only way I see Pearson working for LCFC again is as a DOF or similar positionI didn’t say it was a good idea. But he is someone who knows the club and players that can keep the seat warm until a proper manager shows up.
Depends how urgently they feel a change is needed.
What about Michael Appleton?Pearson the only one that you could install in that way.
And I definitely don’t fancy that.
can't see him coming back hereWhat about Michael Appleton?

Yep, said this before. Stringer was making a big thing out of it after the game and I reckon he was right. And the controversial bit...
The look on his face after the game, I think he might have done it after West Ham at home.
I mean no disrespect obviously.
If he doesn't tell the club who sacked him during his honeymoon to do one, he doesn't have the strength of character I thought he didClub treated him quite poorly I’m led to understand.
