Here’s the other thing about ****ing Puel. He’s got fans at each other’s throats and a good chunk of them not fancying this at all.

Not exactly the figurehead you want for a club.

I’ll shut up now and hope I’m wrong.

Stop ****ing him then you sicko.

He ****s like he coaches football. One paced, lack of penetration, prone to an error at the back and, ultimately, completely unsatisfying.
And bends over at every opportunity. Especially for Roy Hodgson.

52 pages vs 2 pages. Says it all.

Those 52 pages do not seem to have influenced the club. Indeed the opinions put forward on this forum seem to have no effect. Since so many of my own posts turned out to be wrong I am grateful to the club for this.

When I started the Puel In thread it was not as an attack on the Puel Out thread. I favoured Puel being replaced at the proper time - the end of last season..The owners decided to keep Puel. Hopefully they are right. I feel the manager deserves the benefit of the doubt. There is a chance that we will end up in a relegation dogfight and I may rejoin the Puel Out campaign. A famous football pundit called John Maynard Keynes once said "When the facts change I change my mind. What do you do?"

He also said “When the final result is expected to be a compromise, it is often prudent to start from an extreme position.” :)

How long can we keep this pratt in charge hes got no idea ,wont have any idea so these last two friendlys then get rid .

he needs until Xmas minimum be careful what you wish for we could appoint someone even worse and be in the championship next year.

we finished where we deserved to be last year, Puel has a tricky start to the season I think we will be okay, when does Vardy and Maguire return?

XMAS? How many points you think he should have by then?

After the pathetic capitulation of last season, playing dull as **** football, I can’t see him being given much time by the board if the season doesn’t start well. If it’s more of the same, I can genuinely see us getting rid faster than Palace ditched FdB last season.

If he was new to the club, he’d get a fair bit longer.

He needs a decent performance against Man United where we look to actually pass the ball forward, and then an absolute minimum of four points from the next three games or else he’ll be a goner before the first international break.

Results of course will be judged ultimately but performance levels will need to be high.

I've been confused by where I stand with Puel. I've seen the dogshit we played for part of last season and also I've seen some fabulous football at times especially when he first took over.

He said it himself, he needs time. Having preseason is important imo. If he has a shaky start, especially with performances, then he has nowhere to hide. He's not a miracle worker and very few are. I'd rather have someone who has an average start and then builds and does well than someone who tends to get results instantly and then fizzles out like Pardew so typically did and Allaradyce does.

Right now he's our manager so positivity and all that is important. Negativity is so easy to spread amongst the faithful. Im not saying be fake but have some hope that he can do well. We could well finish 6th or 7th. Sometimes I feel that certain fans almost want him to fail because they're so convinced he's not good enough or that he's gonna to fail anyway.

People are always going to have their opinions but we can't actually do anything to affect his future (well we can protest from the stands etc but we can't directly do anything) so let's try get behind the manager and give him as much support as we can. The media will already be putting pressure on him if things don't get difficult in the first 3 games, we don't need to increase that pressure unless it's evident that he's completely useless.

Puel In. For now. With a preseason under his belt and until he proves otherwise.

Puel mistake last season was trying to get players to play possession football and pen other sides in their half, the error was that we had players incapable of doing this, he has sorted out the RB and now needs to sort out our LB imo.

I still think we another striker however our midfield with Ndidi, Maddison will prove to be a success. losing Mahrez is brutal we will just have to wait and see how we play the pre season games are giving players match fitness and is difficult to judge who will start and how we will play come the start of the season.

glass is half full for me

Whilst I agree with the majority of your post, I have to call bollocks on this one. No one wants him to fail because if he fails, the team fails.

Yes I don’t think he’s good enough and I think he will ultimately fail, but I don’t want him to fail and I don’t think anyone else would. I’d be happy to be proved wrong because that means we’ll have had a decent season.

I think he has a point, its wider than football issue though, some people would rather be able to say they were right than have a better outcome

Well I couldn't name one person on here who would ever fit that bill in relation to Leicester City, even the total wankers

What a load of complete and utter bollocks
