Puel out

We used to regularly leave Vardy and Mahrez on the half way line (one on each side), until Ranieri started to be more conservative with his tactics.
That’s probably why I’d forgot he did that but to blame Puel for something pretty much every manager has done here isn’t fair

Can I blame him for doing it in his reign?

Or is he that ****ing clueless he's just carrying on a tradition that contributed to getting his useless predecessors sacked?

If you are saying it's not his fault because someone else once did it then I think we can see the cracks in the 'Puel in' argument quite nicely.

I’m saying I don’t remember people making that big a deal of it under previous managers, maybe if you Puel out lot stop getting so hysterical in your posts others might be more inclined to discuss it

Our readiness to attack from an opposition corner was a thing of beauty. Kante and Drinkwater at the edge of the box ready to nick the second ball, pass to the other, and get our attack going straight away.

We just don't seem to play to the strengths of the players, as many are saying.

There was a manager years ago (Clough?) that was all for holding on to the ball, the other team can't score if you have the ball.

When we have 65% possession we loose. When we have 35% we win. Or there abouts.

I've always hated it.

It's negative shit

I’m sure I remember posting about it before. I’m sure I remember others posting about it before, too.

Mike Stowell took over responsibility for all corners for/against a couple of years ago.

I often notice Puel talk to Stowell about them during matches. They did so second half on Saturday. So I assume it's still the same set up.

We're bad at them at both ends of the pitch and have been for ages. It's been discussed on here multiple times. I've whined on about it loads.

I think the commentator said during the early part of Man City game that we’d had something like 95 corners so far this season and scored from 2 of them.

(I’m sure there are stats out there somewhere).

The football has gone from boring, pedestrian, possession based shite to embarrassingly awful load of wank. We can’t even string two passes together.

He’s a fraud of a manager. Sack him at half time.

if that's true it explains a lot actually

Never really understood Stowells apparent iron grip at City.

Brought in by Levein in 2005. Sacked in 2007.

Then Martin Allen brought him back less than three months later and we've been stuck with him ever since.

I've never seen a keeper improve under him. He's mates with Schmeichel though so his position is untouchable.

Which would be fine if he was a goalkeeping coach. But he’s clearly got a larger remit. Baffling.

Martin Allen didn't have a clue about keeper coaches that's why

his official job title is Goalkeeper & First Team coach, just lowball him at his next renewal so you can say to Kasper we asked him to stay and he said no OR tell Kasper to shut up and get on with it when we just sack him
