I thought we were superb today. For an away side at top of league, we were slightly the better side and a draw would have been a slight disappointed.

We weren't perfect, we looked toothless upfront but we were comfortable and QPR fans knew they'd got their best three pts of the season post match.

A familiar feeling with City, pride but no reward. Fair play to our support today made it a real atmosphere. Good day full stop, had a drink post match with a couple of old schoolfriends in a place off Goldhawk Road. Few QPR, none giving it the big un.

And Ben Mee that tackle on Taarabt was worth £25.

Coming back with a different type of gutted than that 6-1 shower....

Very unfortunate. We edged it but managed to lose.

As always, you can't afford to miss chances against decent opposition and I thought Waghorn did so well to create his chance but it was a terrible miss.

We are obviously a midfielder short - Oakley didn't play particularly badly but he's having little impact on the game - playing the obvious short pass etc etc.

At least it simplifies things. Either we beat Norwich and retain a slim chance - or we can forget it for this season.

Same. Hate the ignore function...but my patience is being tested.

Anyway, we are in a bit of bother if we can't do Norwich on Tuesday.

A few weeks ago I said every game was a must win to stand any chance of the top two....now every game is a must win to finish 6th.

Our away form has been poor this season. If we are going to get anywhere in the playoffs we will HAVE to sort that out.

the only thing I would have done differently was Gallagher for Oakley. I like Mee on the left and thought he played very well today. Bruma, too was outstanding.

Whatever happens this season will be....we will most certainly be better for it under Sven's guidance next season.

Also nice to see a change in the formation today,teams will note that we are not a one-dimensional side anymore and will have to think a little more carefully in trying to stifle us.

I am glad now that Vassell has been given a more central role it can only be a better tactic,than having him out in the wide role.

I really think if we have any chance of sneaking a play-off spot we need the Yak and Vassell leading the line.

Read all with interest, it seems that we all need to get down there on tuesday and give them the support that is needed, we can still make the Prem if we get behind the lads. Whoever is selected we need to get back to the fast running quick ball that we played when we took the sheep apart, just need an early goal to give us some confidence.

A few weeks ago I said every game was a must win to stand any chance of the top two....

If we'd won the last three we'd currently be in third place, just two points behind Swansea. That shows how quickly things can change with a good run of results.
The teams above us will keep dropping points, we just have to make sure we take advantage.

Didn't take into account that our GD couldn't be higher. Still it's most likely we'd be 4th, given that it doesn't seem likely we'd have scored won away to the likes of QPR and Cardiff by more than the odd goal.

Felt a compelling desire to reply to Syd's goading but went and sat in the freezer for twenty minutes, feeling much better now.

Disappointing result today, not terminal.

I have bruising from being repeatedly elbowed by a stupid bint first, and then her odious OH for all of the second half after they swapped their seats/standing places.

My mate Dawn was there first, but after being hit several times by said bint in the shoulder(Dawn is a shortarse) I swapped with her as I thought(wrongly as it turned out) that the bint wouldn't shove her elbows in the side of someone taller/bigger than she was.

She spent most of the time stood there whinging about having to stand up and then after I swapped with Dawn she swapped with her OH, who then clearly didn't seem to have a problem with being verbally abusive towards two women because they wouldn't move up the row so they could have more room. I spent a lot of the second half with my knee wedged between the gaps of the seats infront of my and Dawn-I would've been better off standing sideways, and then the OH started edging across into my space.
I couldn't even put me hands in my coats pockets without him gobbing off that I was 'hitting him' on purpose and when I told him to grow the f*ck up he got his phone and took a photo of me, saying if I tried to be violent he would be able to prove who I was!:icon_eek:
Then kept telling me tp punch him so he could have me chucked out.:icon_roll
I'd got to the point where I was standing with my legs ramrod straight so he couldn't budge me over anymore, but it was when he turned round and called me a 'f*cking c*nt' when I was clapping a bloody good tackle by one of our lads(obviously me clapping meant I was slightly nudging him) that I thought 'you really are a fecking twat'.

Completely spoilt me day that did,the behaviour of two people old enough to be my parents and the language from the pathetic twattish man towards us both was so OTT.

They could've given me £12.50 for the half seat/space they clearly wanted for the entire game.


ANYHOO! As for the match, was a bit surprised at the team line-up though for purely selfish reasons delighted my camera would get more Oakley pics.

I thought they played well, created good openings and had some VERY good chances which were wasted,which was a shame, cos despite what some of said on here today, both in this thread and the match thread( just cos one player is in ffs), we did not deserve to lose.

Certainly a better performance than the last three, but we really do need to take the chances given us.
