Questions for the Foxes Trust

We weren't complaining about any criticism, just pointing out that like the entire fan base, the Trust board have some vocal on support & some less so, but none of us feel it is right to pick on players before a ball is kicked & we still haven't seen too many posters across message boards arguing against this point.

There was less evidence of this over the Christmas home games which is a good thing
You don't think that the improved performances had anything to do with it? Or will you be taking full credit yourselves?

Full of sarcasm again, you would not expect the club to be asking the Trust which players to sign. The only views we have expressed about the managerial situation since MM took over is not to go for Warnock, as our previous consultation of members indicated there was a clear majority against him

I presume that would be the same Warnock who has just won manager of the month and has taken a failing side of losers with a bad attitude to the brink of the play-offs, having taken 17 out of the last 21 points ?

Thanks for that one

Please keep up the fantastic job you are doing :038:

My thoughts excatly, I wanted Warnock here but the fickle boneheads really won on that one.

As I've said - I won't comment further on the Trust but I do hope that Mandaric didn't give any credence to the bad mouthing towards Warnock by a section of supporters generally.

It would worry me if the person in charge of the club's destiny was pushed off course by such silliness about whether a potential manager had previously uttered unkind words about this or any other club. All that matters are results. The very people who were rubbishing Warnock would now be praising his name had he come to Leicester City and taken us (from a similar position to Palace) to where they are now.

Our fans are really stupid, I'm betting the stupidest.

I bet you win!

And I thought I was the only one.

and that makes up the FT.

I have said before I would not want colin here, but in fact I would have andy pandy here as manager if it meant we were winning.
The palace fans didnt want colin either, but they would not part from him now would they?
FT= Foxes Trust or FT= Fecking Tossers......:102:

As I have said, I will not comment further about the above organisation. However, what was Mandaric thinking to listen to such rubbish from whatever juvenile source. What Leicester City needs is leadership and that involves making decisions that may not be initially popular with all the troops but is in the best interests of the club.

The average age of the Trust membership is higher than average for the club, so those indicating they didn't want Warnock are hardly juvenille.

Our feeling was that if Warnock had been appointed fans would be very quickly on his back, in the same way would say Megson was hardly given a warm welcome & fans were quickly complaining about the style of football he chose to play.

It seems to me that you based that assumption on Warnock not being able to make things better, though right now they couldn't be much worse could they?

I'm not a fan of Warnock, and if truth be told never will be, but you can't ignore the fact that he gets teams organised and playing committed football.

And let's face it, we ain't seen much of that the last four years have we?

To save me scouring dozens of threads, was Warnock ever offered the job and/or did he ever say he would take it if it was offered?

It is no good us bemoaning Milan taking notice of short-sighted fans if the man and the job were never more than a part of a wishlist.

I am sure that you know that the definition of the word 'juvenile' has very little to do with chronological age and very much more to do with stage of development and maturity. Or perhaps you don't.

Having spoken to Milan on this very subject I can confirm that Warnock was very much in his mind as a possible manager but he had accepted the advice of the FT that City fans would not accept him as the club's manager.

So we do not know if he would have been interested in working for/with Milan?

I always suspected that Warnock would have resented the interference from a 'back-seat' manager such as Milan.

Might well be true but it has nothing at all to do with this discussion which is about the advice that the FT gave to MM.

If the man only sought the opinion from one source then he is more of a fool than I credited him for.

I want to hope that MM was not really swayed by this appalling organisation and that Warnock would not have accepted the job anyway.

The thought that these pretentious idiots (and who you point are only interested in their own egos and I would argue are just trying to find a role where none exists for themselves) could influence the club owner is just too awful for me to want to take aboard.

Can't they just amalgamate with the LCFC official or unofficial supporters club and quietly disappear?
