No because they are hurling racist abuse at them whilst they are beating them up....did you read my post?
Yes. Particularly the part where you said they "would" be prosecuted

This flippant attempt at humour (or just trivialising racism) from another Notts based fellow seems to justify that people from Notts (a hotbed of BNP activists) are just not aware of their own ignorance. Using 'coloured' 'darkie' 'yellow ones'...just shows that people in that piss-hole county are stuck in an era where it was not illegal to racially abuse people - 50s, 60s and 70s
What's with the 'PC Brigade' rubbish? It's an offence to racially abuse someone whatever their skin colour you little ignoramus!
Feel free to call me anything you like, I am most certainly not going to run crying foul to anyone complaining. I do not mean this in any way shape or form as racist or disrespectful but I presume that by your vehement and vociferous attack on my comments that you are black / asian / other non-white ( jeez I don't know how to class non-whites these days without being deemed a raving racist )
Can you please change your user name, I really don't want people getting us confused.
Thanks

I would love to see evidence that all children and youths are running amok and have no respect.
I have to you've always seemed fairly normal, but for a moment I though you'd turned into a reactionary tit.
If it was caught on video then it definitely would and rightly so.
I'm saying that it is far easier in modern society to sell a racially motivated assault in a court where the aggressor is white. If a crime is racially motivated then it should be tried as such. However, it is harder to put the boot on the other foot. I don't know the stats but I'm guessing that racially motivated attacks on Caucasians are rarer. Even so the authorities and the media, shy away from earmarking cases where Caucasians are attacked for their colour, as such, because of fear that it will further strain race relations. As I said in my earlier post, our society is keen to make examples of racism against minorities but at the same time wary of doing it the other way. If we want to be a effective mutlicultural society, we need to treat everyone equally and that extends to crime and punishment as well. By not doing so you only fuel the fires for those that want to see inequality.

I notice you live in Nottingham, have you got any earthly idea about what Blue Blood means by Nottingham is a 'BNP hotbed'?

It will only be considered racially aggravated if there is evidence to support that it was, regardless of anybody's skin colour. Using language during an incident is not evidence that an attack was racially motivated, as has been pointed at several times already.
And I won't be buying into your conspiracy theory without you first presenting some form of evidence.
I do take racism seriously. I have put up with it all my life being called a spud picker. What I objected to was the confrontational posting, which I felt wasnt getting the point across.
Using racist language during an attack is evidence. It may not be proof but it is evidence nonetheless
That wasn't deemed as a racist attack by the shopkeeper, nor should it, so not sure why you're hmmmmming

Yes, that's right. It is evidence that racist language was used during the attack, but that is all. It is not evidence of the motivation of the attack.
