I am not keen on the idea of Season Tickets going up, along with every other price increase we have to burden in recent months this is just another kick in the scroats.

The considerable numbers of regular fans that attend home games and in many cases (not mine) away games have put up with some pretty poor events this season, musical manager, league position, and too many poor peformances and results. (true there have been a few highlights as well) They still beg us to stick with them help them 'turn it around' and fans still turn up in numbers that few other teams could boast at the tiop of the division. The least they could do for me is to refrain from taking the piss and asking me to cough up more money for potentially yet more of the same next season. I am a fool when it comes to supporting my team, always have been, but might not always be.

If the club are in dire need of the funds well that just adds to my pissed-offness.

They can only kick you in the scroats if you allow them to.

The players have been training for this all week, unfortunately they still can't hit them.

We all seem to be fed up for the same reasons - this is the email I sent:-

"I understand that the club are looking at season ticket prices with a view to raising them for the third year in succession, despite another season of dreary, appalling football that has us in very real danger of dropping into the third division for the first time in our history.

This season my season ticket cost £322, two years ago it was £254. If it goes up any further I shall not be renewing. I am sick of the utter mediocrity, the vacuous ‘matchday experience’ (relentless crass music, the idiot announcer).

Living in London I devote a good deal of time and money to following LCFC, but – I suspect in common with many others – I am close to having had enough. An ST price rise would be the final nail in the coffin."

Just let them know. They'll probably ignore it, have a good laugh or whatever, but at least I made my feelings clear.

I have just let them know that a price increase would be the rubber stamp on me not getting a season ticket. Like most of us on here I can about afford it but they are going too far.

I am not sure if this has been posted or even mentioned, but if they are putting the price of season tickets up then surely it means that the match day tickets will be increasing also?

Sadly i expect many that say they wont, will change their minds.

I did that and bought one last season. But only because I had planned to go to around half the games, and I realised the dead cheap West Stand season tickets would cost me the same as going to half the matches in my usual seat, so it seemed like an obvious decision to get one, even if I didn't go to every match.
I won't be getting one next season though. Definitely :icon_roll

Nice one lads, an email protest is as good a start that can be expected at this moment in time. I too have sent off emails to all 3 saying that I will not be renewing my 3 season tickets this coming season. I added that I may just restrict myself to a few away games instead, where you can experience a much better match day experience.

Nice one lads lets keep it up, the more people who email in the more notice they will have to take. For every 1000 people who do not renew, I would say they would be down around £350,000 minimum. I am sure they would take notice of that.

If there is no reply, send the emails again, and again and again.

BG's up for this:icon_bigg

I am BB. I wish I could dish up crap to my clients, and then ask for more money to cover costs. They would tell me to **** off!

Tomorrow morning at 9am I will resend my emails to the 3 of them, again at midday and again at 4:30. That will be everyday until I get a reply.
I might just increase the size of the letters each time as well

For what its worth BG i'm with you all the way.
That aside i dont think that you will need to protest, as i fully expect a big decline in ST sales whatever division we are in.
The club and football in general are about to receive a rude awakening imo. They have created a monster with the premier lge.
There is no room for anything interesting to happen with the way they have structured things. We all know that the next 15 years in the premier lge will be won by 3 or 4 teams. The 2nd tier clubs will be fecked off because they will never bridge the gap to the top teams. As for the rest its all about survival. The question i ask is how long can they sell this product:102: without giving hope to other teams its become as boring and predictable as the Scottish set up. Quite frankly i wish the big 4 would feck off to a euro lge and then we can give the game back to the supporters

Which is why there will be a European super league in the next few years.
