I wonder how many of them are thoughtful and not at all bigoted in any way

I'd find it hard to believe anybody who wasn't bigoted aligning themselves with a group that is so right wing, regardless of how they felt about their other policies.

There are only right wing parties in the UK, so if you're so inclined to take part in the election and vote for somebody, you may as well cast your vote for the crowd that will take you away from the United States of Europe

There were plenty of other options yesterday.

No 2 EU http://www.no2eu.com/?page_id=77 for example. Their main candidate in the North West is a member of the socialist party.

The Green party say they would hold a referendum on the EU. http://www.greenparty.org.uk/
 
I'm somewhat shocked to discover that an unused warehouse just down the road from me is suddenly the temporary 'home' to a thousand Central American children. Living close to one of the world's more controversial borders brings issues like this into sharp focus at times, but whatever your stance on immigration, there's something inherently wrong about any situation where 1000 kids are stuck in a warehouse. It's a very complicated mess:
