The issue for me is that Claudio delivered something truly magical last season, his tweaks were the perfect compliment to the structure already in place, however this season you can see we are moving further and further away from that blueprint and structure and as we do we have lost our identity and with it we are free falling back to the championship looking like a shambles and in disarray, the level and velocity of our decline is extremely similar to that under Taylor, although the initial first season was significantly more successful.

However it is clear that his approach is destabilising everything good at the club and urgent immediate action is required, otherwise we could be looking at another massive rebuild in the summer and a lon long road back.

Or maybe I'm not a mad depressive who can't handle a few losses. It's a game of football which will be forgotten by most within a month.

I think you actually really struggle with evaluating the reaction of people.

There is nothing 'mad depressive' on show here at all, it is also more than 'a few losses'

It is s indeed a game of football, not that I'm entirely sure what your point is? Nobody is threatening to do themselves in off the back of it are they?

Thanks doctor. What about bi-polar?

Is your friend connected to the club? I can't see Shakespeare still being there, let alone talking with CR on the sidelines in matches if true.

I've seen it written here that CR has done away with Psychologists and dieticians at the club. Does anyone know if that is true?

I think these and even moreso analytics are very important to teams looking to maximise their potential these days. Marginal gains and all that. Look at the difference these make in cycling or on a bigger scale the NBA.

We had one psychologist and he was let go in the summer. There was an article with an interview with him in the times I think. He said he'd barely been used last season and then was let go.

It's easy to look at something like that and say "there's the problem" but for me it's unlikely that a psychologist would have made much difference.

The dietician thing I think is not true. As far as I'm aware all of the sports science team are all still there.

I've been re-evaluating my stance on Ranieri. I am totally convinced that we will be relegated if we do nothing.

Someone on here said that if he's not the man to bring us back up from the Championship, what's the point in retaining him any longer? I can't really argue with that. It's absolutely true.

So, I think I now support him going 'by mutual consent' following Wednesday's game. It's best for all parties. I don't want us to sack him, but I want him to 'stand down' and get his compensation. I'm sure they could work something out.

I'm no fan of Shakespeare but our only chance of galvanising the spirit is to get the whole backroom staff and players working together. He should be put in charge until the end of the season and then we can see where we are.

Doing nothing not only destroys this season. It also potentially leaks into next season with so much wrong and in need of sorting out. If we do go down, we need to be ready to bounce straight back.

Sorry Claudio, you will forever be remembered fondly, but I no longer want you at the club.

friend of mine told me yesterday in summer claudio changed training sessions and stopped listening to shakespeare, anyone else here heard the same story?

No, because that is quite clearly a load of totally made up bollocks

If we decide to get rid of Ranieri and the manager we think can get us promoted is available now, why not get him now, rather than wait until the summer?
If, for example, Rowett is seen as the man to get us promoted, appoint him now while he's available. If he keeps us up, great, he deserves to be in charge in the Prem next season. If we go down, he can get on with job he was brought in for - and he'll have got to know the players, which puts him in a better position to decide what needs to be done in the summer.

Nigel is available.

Because I don't have a clue who the best man to replace Ranieri is. Rowett appears to be flavour of the month but I'm not convinced that we couldn't do better in the summer, which ever league we're in.

Yeah Pep and Klopp could be available in the summer.;)

I'm not biting, although I saw an interview that brought the dear old loon to mind earlier today:

Come on. If MoN is God, Pearson is Jesus, he came back to us and led us to the promised land. Didn't Jesus resurrect 3 times?

The best man is Mancini. Of course, there's feck all chance of getting him in if we get relegated and the chances are thinning the longer we remain shit and the closer we slide to the trap door.
