Probably because he was shite when he came back! I can't really think of many others in the 6-7 years i've been going.

I think virtually the whole squad were resigned to defeat last season.

Darren Kenton played on loan for us then signed permanently about 12 months later.

Also back in the 80's we sold Kevin MacDonald to Liverpool and he came back on loan to us a couple of years later.

Sort of. According to Wikipedia, he was loaned to us from Blackburn in 2000, but didn't actually make a single appearance.
