Quality stuff from Sven not playing either of our best defenders of late and changing a winning team again.

I hope that he was tied to do so by the terms of the loans. If not then I'd rather have a new manager in the summer.

bamba f*** off, bruma f*** off, Yak ba-bye! sven needs too look at himself or feck off too:098:

Is it worth getting shot of the expensive loanees as it's all over really. Kamara didn't get clicking at all and the Yak not really in it and then when he had the chance he wasted a good chance for a headed goal. The results went for us as well. Had we won on Tuesday night, as we should have done and squeezed a point today we would have been on 63 points just 2 behind Leeds.

Sven got it wrong today. Ben Mee was probably our best defender on Tuesday night and he has been consistant if not spectacular in recent weeks whereas Bamba flatters to deceive, although his injury may see him sidelined anyway and Bruma has been crap and never played hardly in a winning team he also slipped at the wrong time today for that 3rd goal which killed us off. I don't care how much it would cost, Bruma should have been given a ticket to West Brom v Chelsea and told to watch the game and learn rather than waste the loan spot he took in todays game.

Sven lost us the game today for me.

If I was Mee I would be back up to Manchester tomorrow.

Any goalkeeper in this position is likely to have the ball put by him. The target compared to the size of the goalkeeper stacks the odds firmly in the favour of the attacking player.

You dont like Weale, but to single him out in the manner you do I think is extremely harsh.

Some a lot less than others NF..... whats the ****ing point in having a goalie then?

Just getting out the car park. They threatened with every attack and our defence was woeful. Bruma was shocking and I'm amazed how bad he was. Made 1 brliant tackle from first half but was terrible otherwise.

Actually thought oakley was our best player. Was impressed. King was poor except his goal. Naighton and van aanholt are good attacking but it left us too exposed. Kebe tore us apart

Will write more when I get home. My curse continues. Sorry guys

I think Oakley has looked good recently and has probably been our best player over the past 3 or 4 games tbh. He still gets moaned at like few others by people in front of me who've made up their minds he's going to be shit every game though.

I don't really think Weale could've done a whole lot about the goals today to be honest.

But, he never inspired me with confidence. He never looked confident, not once, when coming for the ball. A lot of flapping, and indecisiveness about whether to come out or not, it seemed to me.

Bruma was very poor, as I said before. Made one good tackle, and wins stuff in the air, but his positioning is poor and he was just getting done for pace all day today. Wish it was him that had come off injured and not Bamba, although Bamba wasn't great either.

Vitor was composed when he came on and I don't think did anything wrong at all (in fact, I think he got everything right).

Van Aanholt and Naughton, while they didn't do anything particularly wrong (Naughton was good today), them attacking so high up leaves us quite exposed at the back, with 2 weak centre backs and no one really anchoring from midfield. Against Reading's pace that particularly left us open. I don't think Van Aanholt was able to get near/stop Kebe once all game.

The attacking players were all okay. Thought Kamara was the best of them (couldn't understand why he got taken off!). Oakley had a good game, King didn't (lots of misplaced passes today). Wellens was average. Yakubu, first 20 minutes looked like he was going to tear them apart, but that soon stopped.

We had our moments today... a goal before half time and I think we could've got back in, and we had a long spell (10-15 mins I think) of continous pressure up to the half time whistle. Just couldn't make it count.

Didn't understand why Howard was brought on, I think Dyer would've been more useful, and we seemed to have no shape when Howard came on. Nobody seemed to go to the left.

Overall, disappointing. Kamara, Oakley and Vitor our best players. Bruma, Bamba and King probably our worst.

We weren't terrible though, and Reading looked good for promotion. I was in a box down the Reading end (although thankfully, the people in the box next to me were Leicester fans too!), and the Reading fans around us thought we did alright, and weren't feeling comfortable at all until they got their 3rd. They said we gave them a much better game and posed more of a threat than most teams they've played recently. They were impressed with us, bar our defence really, which I think most of us would agree with!

I think we're close to being a real force in this league but, except for a keeper, it's hard to pinpoint exactly what needs to change. Hopefully Sven knows though

For me (watching a stream) he was the best player today... tried hard, cleared one off the line, put himself about.

.....poor control which lead to the ball ending up with a Reading player for the 2nd goal.

I hope he has a better attitude than you.

So do I Jeff, but can you tell me what he is getting from his experience down here that he would not be getting back at Man City?

Why would a loan player waste his time at the loan club if he's not even in the squad?

Defending dogshite again. Gave Long and Manset far too much time and space. Kebe could have had a couple of pints whilst taking the piss past our players. I wanted to cry when Griffin, yes the full-back with grey hair managed to get around Van Aanholt.

For the record, I thought Reading were quite poor footballing wise, hoof and hope Long works his arse off.

Bruma, **** off. Pathetic.

We were constantly beaten for pace today, it's no good blaming individuals for that. You've either got pace or you haven't.

PS I agree with Cate, Oakley was our best player today.

Not being at all biased but yes, yes he was our best player today.:icon_bigg

I think it says a lot more about the state of our team that our best player the last 2/3 games has got dodgy knees and his legs don't normally last him the 90 minutes anymore!!

As soon as I saw the team news I knew we'd be up against it. Seeing Bruma's name in there made me apprehensive from the start, and unfortunately those concerns were proved right. It's not often every person I know agrees about a players but I don't know anyone who thinks Bruma should be in our starting line-up. So what Sven thinks he adds to the defence only he and his coaching staff know.
Cos we look utter dogshite when he is playing, and the others who are normally alright looked as dodgy as Bruma does.

All three goals were from mistakes from us. I was more disappointed about that than anything, cos we certainly didn't look like we should've been 3-0 down. We had our chances yes, but time and again we pussy-footed around with the ball and didn't get it into the dangers areas with any urgency.

I'm pleased for King that's he's got back on the scoresheet, hopefully that will kickstart his form again so he can end the season on a high note.

Ah well......
