The same for Vitor, who I would rate as the best defender at the club. It's a shame he doesn't play more.
:038: The last few games should have hammered this home to Sven. Vitor is the most competent defender we have, while Bruma is the flimsiest since Gareth MacAuley left. Bamba is... well, he's different.

It was specifically pointed out that Vitor was on a one year loan only as Benfica rated him highly. I was not impressed with him at first - especially against Portsmouth where even I wanted him sent off. However, when I have seen him recently he has improved greatly.

I did not see Bruma play against Reading when those who did say he was poor. He must be talented to be on Chelsea's books and for Sven to rate him but he seems to have struggled since coming here. I wonder why.

Watched the highlights on FLS.
Shocking defending for the first, second, oh and the third.

Cannot see why Bruma was brought in for Mee, also, whilst Vitor is not the most attacking defender, having Naughton and PVA as full backs causes our own problems in defence. Highlighted several times yesterday.

Against Florist, if playing same full backs, why not put Vitor in with Mee?

Agreed. Both Vitor & Mee are brilliant. Mee really has been excellent lately & there is no reason why he should have been out of the squad completely yesterday, never mind the starting XI.

Although statistically Friday may be a bit early, I don't want to see anyone in an LCFC shirt for the rest of the season who won't be here in August, whether we're paying their extortionate wages or no. Arguing the toss about which combination of the loanees makes for the least dodgy back four makes the act of rearranging the deckchairs on the Titanic seem visionary.

By the way, from where I was sat our fans were making a lot of noise :) Was painful not being able to join in. I wanted my own special Sven wave!

I still cheered when we scored, then realised where I was so had to calm it down!

Being in a box was good fun, but kind of weird too (especially down their end). I got to go to their MOTM presentation afterwards and hear John Madejski and see Jimmy Kebe. Had a bit of a chat with their Chief Exec too... was tempted to try and kidnap Kebe so we'll have him for next year, but he was bigger than me :(

Watched the highlights on FLS last night, and King's goal was better than I realised. Right in the corner. He was due a goal, hopefully that gives him a bit more confidence for the last few games... although I reckon a lot of them have just run out of steam

Thought it was weird that Sven's post match comments were about us not making the most of our chances. Alright we had a few, but no real clear cut chances that we should've scored.... other than Wellens, which if it had been practically any other player in our starting lineup, we would've scored. Reading had far more squandered chances than we did.

Now now, David. I'm sure Fosseboy is quite justified in his criticism of one of the most highly decorated managers in football....I mean, what does Sven know? Aside from winning numerous accolades and hauling us up the league when we didn't have a right to be there. Sven out, for sure. What ****ing arseholes these 'fosse boys' are. Lets get Martin Allen back, at least he showed some passion. Pricks. We have no devine right to win any games at the minute. When Sven is doing the business next year it'll be interesting to see how quickly the twats with the banners warm to him. 'Fosse Boys' are an embarrasment to our otherw*s* respectable club. At least THEY'VE stuck around for the long haul thought....not like they're dwindling in numbers is it? Tits.

I'd like to point out that im in no way associated with the fosseboys and resent the fact they use my name:icon_cry::icon_wink

Just because Sven has won a few things in the past does not make him above criticism, I'd like to point out he did **** all for England against any team ranked higher than them when in charge.

Why he keep switching the team, whys he continue to let headless chicken impersonator Sol Bamba continue to stay centre back with out changing him when other have proved they are better defenders?

Are we not allowed to critise him?

clearly not.

His performance with England was about par, I'd say. You could even argue that he overachieved given what's happened since. If he performs at par with us we'll either be challenging for promotion in this league or battling relegation in the top flight over the next few seasons. I'd take that.

For what it's worth I don't think anybody is saying that Sven is above criticism. Only that it is idiotic to call for the sacking of a man who has taken us from the foot of the table to a top half position. They're correct, it is idiotic.

The thing is football fans always go over the top. When we started to play entertaining and winning football with a squad that was useless earlier this season, Sven was suddenly Messiah - and he will never be able to live up to that, because simply he isn't. Likew*s*, when we're having a bad spell people start calling for his head which is equally ridiculous.

A huge part of a manager's job is to find the right players in a proper transfer window, and until then I won't judge him as harshly. That does not mean in any way that he's above criticism, only that I think that should be taken into account.

I am also generally for keeping a manager longer than most people are, I think. Obviously Sousa being an exception - he had to go - but it's hard to work wonders during a very limited period of time.

I'm the same. A manager should be given time. Sousa was obviously an exception. If we had been bouncing around in mid-table then fine, it was always a tall order to repeat last season's success. But I have no doubt that we'd still be in the bottom three now had he stayed. I was even receptive to the idea of Holloway staying on after relegation, although with the benefit of hindsight it's clear that I was wrong.

It was more a case of not believing that we'd be able to attract anyone better than being a fan of Holloway's. I wasn't optimistic that we'd be back any time soon and at least Holloway had managed to win promotion with QPR eventually. As it stands I want the tosser to cry on the telly when Blackpool are relegated in a couple of weeks time.

Just want to say that LeeCovFox is one of the most sensible posters to start posting on this site in ages. Hope he sticks around.
