I'm planning to go to the away game at Morecambe in a few weeks.

Does that make me a blue mongie?

No. It makes you a dirty northern bastard.

They should make their fecking mind up! How has it got worse since 3pm? Bet the Shrewsbury team will be mightily pissed off, although thankfully it isn't too far away.

It was called off at 3. I don't know where you got the idea for your original post from.

I wasn't, I was implying that someone who is thinking of making a 150 mile round trip to a reserve game might be.

I've been to reserves games at West Ham and Ipswich - and to an Academy game at Fulham. Average round trip a liitle over 150 miles.

There was an OS article on at about 3 saying that the game was on after a pitch inspection.

Leicester City's Pontin's Reserve League clash against Shrewsbury Town has been postponed.

A local referee appointed by the Football League had deemed the pitch to be playable at 3pm.

But a section of the pitch remained frozen - meaning that the match referee had no choice but to call the game off when he arrived at the stadium.

The club would like to express that they did everything within their powers to ensure that both Shrewsbury Town and supporters were advised of the events as they panned out through the day at the earliest possible opportunity.

This article backs up your claim. I think Boc's losing it a bit as he's getting older.

The "Game On" article then changed to a "Game Off" article.

There appears to have been several different versions. The one which appears there now is not the same as the one that was there when I posted - that one said that the game was called off at 3.

Just admit you were wrong and you're going senile in your old age. :icon_wink

There are more than several examples of me admitting that I have been wrong on these pages. This is not something that I am wrong about - I know what I saw.

I think you should spend you time worrying why all reference to Cardiff (away) tickets has disappeared from the OS.

I've been to reserve games at Hinckley and the Walkers. Average round trip about 8 miles.......

I'm not worrying as I am not going to Cardiff

Boc thinks they may force us travel by offical coaches only.

They've already done it to at least three visiting teams this season - and our games down there have never been completely trouble-free.

Am I right in saying these tickets should have gone on sale to Priority One and pre-orders yesterday? Has anybody received theirs?
