Tonight's offering La Chasse Cote de Rhone 2009 13.5% £5. Earthy as you would expect from a southern region wine, but rather sour too. Probably needs to be drunk with a sweetish food. Not for glugging.

The Palazzo red from sainsbury's ( iforget which)_ is good stuff, as is the Wollemi. All good.

Wine? On a student budget? I've been living off 10p noodles from Morissons for weeks now......

Tonight we have another Chateau wine, Le Pre Du Moine 2009 Bordeaux 13.5% £4. Bloody nice. Earthy, good body, easy to drink. Bargain.

Back to Tesco tonight and the Cuvee Du Midi 2008 13% £3.98. Bought 6 for the 5% discount too so be the weekend before another wine touches my lips.
Mentioned earlier and not sure why I buy anything else. Berriness, body, warmth and smoothness all in equal proportions.
Viva les Gallois.

they do a nice cuvee prestige from l'herault too, cheapo to boot

You can't shit out of your carton

Too busy being a nonce with his red wine to get my " comes in a box" post .
