I'm not sure what his opinion is, but there is a Ricky Sappleton Appreciation Facebook group.

And yes, Ricky is a member.

It says "Ricky Sappleton is the dogs bollocks." People who like Ricky Sappleton clearly have an unhealthy interest in the genitals of dogs.

Despite the desperate need for goals Frank Burrows, Gary Megson and Ian Holloway clearly did not rate him any highter than Nigel.
Lack of ability is not his fault but that of the manager who signed him.
My opinion of his attitude came from his Facebook response to criticism by Gerryh Taggart. He refrred to Taggart as "the managers bitch". A young player with a good attitude learns from the criticism of experienced professionals rather than responding with a Facebook tantrum.
