I'm quite excited about these signings - much more than the style of last summer and from reading on Utd forums, de Laet could be a real good signing as a lot seemed surprised he didn't break into the first team and James sounds like he had potential to be a big hit in the Premiership but injuries have held him back. Hopefully he's overcame them now and will just be taking a slightly longer route to playing at the top level!

Just a quick question, does NP, have a private line to Man U ? Many of his signings, even when he was at Hull came through the ranks at Old Trafford. I'm not complaining no doubt they have a first class academy and youth system, so looking forward to seeing the team develop.

I dont think its as much as a private line, more like Steve Walsh senior has a subscription to MUTV!

de Leak, according to some Norwich fans that I know. :102:

I don't think they can really judge his suitability for Championship football after 6 games in the top flight against much, much superior opposition.

So, I take it that, in your opinion, the signing of James Vardy was ridiculous: how could anybody possibly judge his ability at a remove of three divisions?

I think they are in a better position than most to judge his ability.
