We're now 3 points ahead of a very shit Everton team. Our recent improvement is great to see obviously...shame we put ourselves into this position to start with. Recognising that defending and set pieces are important parts of the game has worked wonders.

Despite all that the league table is so tight, we just gave ourselves such a handicap start to overcome.

Feels like how it clicked in the great escape, but thankfully 6 months earlier. Massive credit to every single player and Brendan.

Fair ****s to Brenda. Didn’t expect this kind of turn around at all. Massive improvement from every single member of the squad.

Maybe worth pointing out that Rodgers is currently third favourite to replace Southgate at 8/1.

A couple of months ago we'd have been delighted to be rid of him. Now? Especially with the most likely replacements being Martinez and Southgate.

Can you imagine England fans if they had to deal with Rodgers?? Jesus wept.

Why on earth would you think Martinez and Southgate would be the likely replacements?

It’s still a yes from me. 17 points from 15 matches is still shite whichever way you look at it.

What about 12

What about 12 points from five games?

Word on the street is that Martinez had informal talks with City in October.

When Potter went to Chelsea and Tuchel wasn't interested, Martinez was probably next in line.

When Martinez was here commentating for BT Sport it would have been stupid of the club not to have sounded him out.

If the were stupid enough to think he’d be a good option then they’re definitely stupid enough to not talk to him while he’s in the vicinity.

He's a complete fraud of a manager.

It wouldn't be stupid It would be utterly shambolic
