Rodgers future...

What a spineless ****. I've never warmed to Rodgers as a person but I think he has done a fantastic job since he took over. Criticising fans for not being vocal enough, I can take; even agree with. Criticising fans because he thinks we should be put back in our box for expecting more than the shit currently being served up is not acceptable at all. This guy can go **** himself sideways with a corner flag as far as I'm concerned. This 'little old Leicester over achieving' bollocks washes over me when it comes from the press; I expect as much from those toss pieces. From your own manager however, it is utterly ridiculous.

I don't know if you can tell but he's really got under my skin tonight; the mahogany skinned, ****ery flap, shit-tingling ****waddle.

Got to say I hate this 'little old Leicester' shit too and you hear it from loads of the ex pro pundits and even some of our fans on occasion as well with comments like 'a few years ago we were in League One'... so were Man City, they don't ****in go on about it and their fans/owners wouldn't be happy plodding along as a stale mid table club in the Prem doing a Mike Ashley special every season happy to just survive. For a club with ambition we should minimum looking to be qualifying for Europe each season. This year our standards have slipped big style and we are well off that...

Brendan has dismantled the team that kept our players fit, we run less, have more squad changes and get far more injuries

BR is starting to sound like a man cracking under the pressure and losing belief. Trying to deflect the blame and change expectations because he is realising he can't change what's happening.

I love the guy, and would still preach patience, but these are worrying signs.

This is what he needs. If he is to become a top manager he needs to now show his metal.
A very good article indeed.

if EVERYONE can see it, why can’t BR? And if he can why isn’t he fixing it?

Today it was obvious that we needed to pack the midfield but we didn’t, why?

Are we just going to wait for this season to be totally over before we make the change?

There might be a slight issue in the fact that there may not be an ideal or better replacement.

" We are not at our usual levels of confidence and to boo a backwards pass when it could launch an attack causes anxiety. It can affect you."

This didn't happen

We don't have an endless pot of money like man city. We should expect more when we're paying Brenda as much as he is, and I do think he should **** off now, but it's hardly surprising what is happening.

Barnes and DH spent most of the international break spending £5000 a night at London Casino hotels. With their friends rather than working on getting fit, the squad is a mess with no discipline, that comes from the manager

My mate who works at the club told me as much. More concerned with having fun and partying than football.

I don't think we should bin him off, but I am beginning to question if he is too soft and I don't like his excuses following a poor performance. 'Last two seasons we overachieved'... rather than admit we have let standards slip considerably this season. Piss off with your excuses Brendan and get this team playing like it genuinely gives a shit again...

If he's going to say that, then I want to hear exactly what he regards as our expected level of achievement.

We've qualified for the 2nd tier European competition twice (& then been disappointing in it twice) & won the FA Cup.

What level below that are we supposed to be happy with & accepting of then Brendan ?

Anything below that level means that we win **** all, ever & qualify for **** all, ever.

So all this investment in the club over the last decade has been to secure the dizzy heights of midtable obscurity then has it?

That'll be news to the owners I reckon.
