OK, I bow down to your opinions on this one. However I'm not totally convinced you're all right. What I saw was a young and talented player who when managed correctly could turn out to be an exciting prospect. Many of his antics could be being mistaken for pig-headedness, some may have been genuinely disappointed.

I agree with you there. I can't see him coming back, but we know the talent is there....he just needs the right manager to help get the best of him.

i think he has the feeling he's too good for city and he will never succeed here if that's his attitude. i think we need hard working players to get us success in this league, better to use the tight budget on players who care if they let us down. stepping stone player

In defence of Smith, he probably was to good to listen to Levein. Along with Morris, De Vries, Elvis, Hammill............................
