Very sad to hear this, i know it has been a long stretched battle but very unexpected, sympathies to the family. it is also worth reminding that Mrs Mac was a leicester girl herself.

a very large amount respect goes to gary for looking after his wife rather than getting himself back into management, which we all know he has had the chance to do.

A few soaps have used the same storyline BUT this was real life and for Gary it will take a while to get back into it BUT I can see him coming back to football in the future.
