I love Micky but its just getting silly now. We didn't lose because of Scowy but we would of played better without him and Dickov starting.

Seriously, I can't see any way around it otherwise. Nothing against him, he's a decent backup striker, but get him away from our team FFS.

I actually thought he had a decent game tonight - He used the ball well, and he was causing problems with his aerial ability as pointed out in my other thread. But other people will negate the good things Scowy does and tend to focus on the not so positive aspects.

He's being asked to play out of position, which is not HIS FAULT. But some people still feel the need to have a go at him, despite him trying his hardest. He is a striker, and thats where he plays best, but people constantly slag him off because he doesn't perform on the wing.

I'm sick of people doing this because he puts his all in to it. We know he's not a winger, but he does his best, which some players cannot be accused of actually doing.

Give the lad a chance - He's doing his best - He may not be good enough for the Premier League, but he's better than some 17 year old untested youth player who hasn't made an impact in the reserves, and wouldn't be able to cope with the physical aspects of the Premier League.

He's playing out of position, so is Bent, so is Canero (apparently) Scowcroft is an awful Premiership player. Who said anything about a 17 year old in this thread? You are getting obsessed, proved by these statements! Bent and Guppy on the wings please. Scowcroft sat at home watching.

Naah mate i'm sorry, but he was awful. Lost out there on the battle field, it's not his fault but when players like Guppy go off and Scowie stays on to just waste a space on the pitch I get angry. Adams must see the problem, we need width along with firepower. Scowie offers us neither when he plays on the wing, usually at the expense of either Dickov or Guppy.

I'm goin to disgaree with you lot, and stick up for him. He did well in my eyes and he distributed the ball well. Bent can play well on the wing because he has the attributes - Scowcroft doesn't have that. he is a striker who holds up the ball, picks out a pass, and causes problems for the defenders. I certainly didn't think he played awful tonight, he tried his best, and i'm not taking this bollox that he didn't challenge for 50/50 balls, because he did. Peopele underestimate his work rate, but because he hasn't got pace, then this decieves people. Pace isn't everything, but some misguided people think it's the only thing that matters.

He is a very useful player for us - But we need him upfront to get the best out of him. In our relegation season where we were arguably the worst ever team to play in the league back then, Scowcroft was given a run upfront and showed how much of a decent player he was, despite the lack of support he got and the lack of quality within the team. He scored goals, he caused problems for the best defenders in the league, and he showed the qualities of a Premiershuip striker.

He's played out wide for so long, he probably has lost the touch - But he has the quality, and should be given a chance.

He gives 100% to Leicester City, and you can't ask much more than that. Call him whatever you like, but while he is in a blue shirt, I will support him all the way as supposed to taking up the negative mady arse role of slagging off the team and individuals at every opportunity.

All well and good Scowcroft, but he isn't better than Dickov, Ferdinand or Bent os he should be on the bench. As you say he isn't a winger and the strikers we have are better than him, so he should work his bollocks off when he gets the chance.
