£15m loss last year. Since then we've spent ~£12m on players, plus compensation for Sven and Pearson. I'd be surprised if it's not around there.

That doesn't mean we are losing half a million a week in any way whatsoever.

I have no reason to believe it's a reasonable estimate.

I have no reason to believe it's not a reasonable estimate.

I'd be pleasantly surprised if the 2011/12 results are significantly below a £26m loss.

A brief(ish) reconciliation of the year so far gives us:

2010/11 loss: £15.2m (from stats)
Less PY transfer fees: £(3.1)m (from stats)
Less PY tangible additions: £(0.5)m (from stats)
Less PY loan salaries: £(2)m* (from stats - increase in salaries between FY10 and FY11)
Plus 2011/12 transfer fees: £12-14m+ (widely reported to be around this level, but could be +/- £m's. Stats state "over £10m")
Plus 2011/12 contracts: £7m (again, complete guesstimate - 10 new players at £15k each for the whole year. I doubt they would be here if we were paying Mills, Beckford, Konchesky, Nugent, etc., less than £15k. There aren't many other ft players who've left since the last year, so salaries will have only gone up)
Additional capital expenditure: £4m+ (from stats - "the parent company has invested...over £4m of capital investment into the training ground...")
Additional sponsorship: £(?)m (from stats, although no idea of size - "signature of large new sponsorship agreements with Air Asia and Amazing Thailand")

Total = £32m loss

There's also a reduction for PS compensation, but a further increase for SGE/NP compensation.

I accept this is full of conjecture, and I'm sure I've missed some other costs/revenues from FY11 and FY12, but most of the estimates are probably within a few million.
