Benefits Aplenty For New Season

Posted on: Fri 21 Mar 2008
Leicester City have yet to finalise season-ticket prices for 2008/09 but are able to confirm a number of benefits for the new campaign.
Season-ticket holders will continue to receive the best deal in recognition of their continued and valuable support, with benefits including:
* An Early Bird cut-off date of May 31, 2008 before which ALL Leicester City supporters will be eligible to purchase a season-ticket at a discounted price.
* A new 'Flexible Payment Plan', allowing Foxes fans the opportunity to secure their season-ticket for a £50 deposit and to then spread the cost through until December, 2008.
* A new 'Family Season-Ticket' offering families an additional discount if they purchase seats together in the Marks Electrical Family Stand.
* A new 'Exclusive Season-Ticket Holders Benefit Package' giving season-ticket holders improved and exclusive benefits every month from June 2008 right through until May 2009.

Foxes fans can pledge their support to City's important 2008/09 campaign by committing to a season-ticket NOW.
Supporters can contact the Ticket Office either by email: [email protected] or visit the Ticket Office in person, providing their full contact details, including mobile telephone number, date of birth and e-mail address.
A further announcement regarding prices will be made in due course.

Sent mine in :icon_wink

This has all the stench of pre-price hike propaganda.

Feckers. Dunno how they can have the cheek. They want BM saps to commit to season tickets now without even knowing the price or league we'll be in.

Should be paying us to watch that shower of shite. Moan, moan.

Could be a fair few thousand season tickets sales resting on the next 7 results.

It's very interesting that there is going to be a Early-Bird discount this time round. At the start of this season the club was apparently in such a good financial state that it didn't need one. Does that mean that the club is not in such a good financial state - or that they have realised their folly in taking away an incentive that has been much valued by fans in the past.

No, it means those that are waiting to see if Olly gets the boot will have to be pulled back in earlier.

Mite be to try and get the numbers up ,or as you have said an incentive to season ticket holders.

I will wait to see where we are going first before I commit. If we go down I will not be renewing. I will wait for give away matches like todays match is.

I assume they aren't announcing the prices yet just incase we get relegated?

I'd say that was exactly the reason. Look out for some really good season ticket deals in six games' time.....
Even in the nightmare scenario that we are relegated (And on some of he showings this year we deserve to be.)I dont think that season ticket prices would be reduced, though I think that they would be hard pushed to justify a reason to put them up.If we do go down I would think season ticket sales would drop by approx 20%,judging on what all of the season ticket holders I know are saying, and average home gates would be about 17,000.So a sharp decrease in revenue but expenditure would still be the same, not rocket science ,big black hole. Now would Milan gamble on keeping the same squad hoping to get out of the division at the first attempt thus having to fund the shortfall himself (Know where my vote goes there.)Or would he have a fire-sale of the better/older players and hope to build again, division 1 is not an easy league to get out of as Fx£&@t have found out.The likes of Liverpool,Villa,Sunderland etc who have been monitoring the likes of Mattock,Stearman and Fryatt will be circling looking to pick up a cheap bargain. And I suppose all of the other useless feckers will be on to their agents to find them a way out if they havent already.

Not if they've been monitoring them properly they won't.

A 'new' flexi payment plan where you can pay a deposit and then spread the cost over the next few months?

I thought they did that for this season, or did I imagine signing up for that?

And maybe I'm being biased, but why on earth should a current non-STH be allowed to get the same early bird discount as a current STH?
Surely the current STH deserve to have a better deal than those who aren't?? Or have I got confused over the whole STH get more benefits thing?:icon_eek:

i won't be buying a season ticket as I already have a free one with 'barber and pipes' on BBC radio imcompetent!

If we get relegated next year it will be cheaper to availe yourself of the offers such as yesterdays, there will be lots of those in div 1.I didnt really have a problem with this years increase as the price had been frozen before that, but after this years performances theyre having a laugh.Plus it also gets dearer for me this year as my lads not an under 16 anymore, and if anything according to the markets round the world money is going to be tighter for everyone this year, but MM wants us to fork out more to keep the useless muppets in their Porches and Range Rovers.Yeah rite

At this rate we could sell the stadium out!
Listened to the pair of them on the way home yesterday, like a talking version of Laurel and Hardy.Matty Piper may have been a fair footballer but he has to be the worst summerizer ever
