I didnt really see any benefits revealed in that press release. I dont like when they pretend they are giving me sometihng it usually means its going to cost me. Why was i punished as a STH by paying £22 to get in yesterday when other people payed a fiver? The only incentive i could see was a cheap family package in the family stnad. Alas the fact Newts has revealed he will be sitting there may have couteracted this measure.

If you really believe that statement then don't buy a season ticket next season.

It was a newspaper promotion - if you're that bothered about it write to them and ask for the difference between your ST cost for the game and the fiver others paid.

First of all if I do buy a season ticket it be my choice and not under instruction by you. Secondly if it does bother me then i will vent that in any way i choose fit and again not under instruction by you.

Thats about exactly what I said yesterday. :038::038::038::038:

It was not a sell out of 30,000, but a give away. The ST holders are treated like shit once they have your money.

But BG it was a newspaper promotion didnt you know the Leicester Mercury will refund the difference of each ticket to the club.:icon_roll

I will bet you any money the newspaper will not do a promotion on ST this coming season. What about collect 5 vouchers and get 80% off, like yesterday.

I saw some pink flying pigs yesterday just before kickoff....

So we are in for a price rise regardless. What would be the best move for the STH would it be dont invest your money now. Buy tickets on a match to match basis and take advantage of the things like "newspaper promotions".
Or weigh in now and commit yourself to watching that shit week in and week out?

Just to point out the linked article was not speculation, but factually what the club said about pricing at the AGM (hence creating a new thread)

Quite why Newts decided to label the thread 'speculation' I don' know, when his post (unusually) appeared to just contain facts. I merged the two threads so we just have the one to talk about season tickets.

Listened to the pair of them on the way home yesterday, like a talking version of Laurel and Hardy.Matty Piper may have been a fair footballer but he has to be the worst summerizer ever

I had to turn off when Piper after the game said "Sheff Wed have got two games in hand, but one of those is against us".

We have this argument every year Lazz and every year it still works out better value for the STH

Not really, because we have to pay for all the home matches at once. If you were not a ST holder there may be a good many you would not go to thus saving that money. Going to the promotional matches would save you even more.

Had a rough day or something Lazzer? :102: I wasn't "instructing" you - I think you have misunderstood the tone of the post.

At the beginning of the season you can see simply how much it is going to cost you per match if you intend on attending all home games, you have the option to buy a season ticket or not. We are also fully aware that there will be matches during the course of the season where a promotional pricing policy will take place.

How either of us were punished yesterday is something I entirely fail to understand.

I feel punished for having bought a season ticket at all - I feel lied to, cheated and betrayed by Mandaric and the players.

I'm currently contemplating not bothering next season, but if they seriously intend to try to charge me more next season then me decision has just been made easier.

Everyday is a rough day for me. Im never without pain.:icon_wink I like to have my loyalty to the club rewarded now and again just to show the club values my patronage.I do not see me being charged £22 and somebody who hasnt been to the game in 20 odd years being charged a fiver as a benefit to me as a STH. I will get two tickets next year regardless of what division we are in . But that doesnt mean i cant have a good whinge about it .It seems to be the TB way now. :icon_wink

If we go down I might buy a season ticket for a team that genuinely cares about the fans. kettering town will be in the vauxhall conference next season!!!

You weren't charged £22.

Why i labeled it speculation is the fact that we don't know the prices yet or which league we will be in next season ,so many people on here have said the prices could go up if we go down just like the trees did .
