Everyday is a rough day for me. Im never without pain.:icon_wink I like to have my loyalty to the club rewarded now and again just to show the club values my patronage.I do not see me being charged £22 and somebody who hasnt been to the game in 20 odd years being charged a fiver as a benefit to me as a STH. I will get two tickets next year regardless of what division we are in . But that doesnt mean i cant have a good whinge about it .It seems to be the TB way now. :icon_wink

Same for us but 4 :icon_wink

Re: Trust AGM - Season Ticket Prices

An article detailing what was said about pricing at the Trust AGM

http://foxestrust.co.uk/site/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=451&Itemid=2

Here are the key points from Paul Aldridge’s response

  • The club were working on prices (at time of the AGM) and an increase is needed
  • There are a number of anomalies that will take 2 or 3 years to iron out.
  • Due to those anomalies some Season Ticket Prices may not rise, while others may go up by as much as 15% (although subsequent discussion indicated less than 10%)
  • The club wants to extend & make more flexible the Direct Debit terms
  • Talked of a flexible monthly charge say £2 - £4, shorter term Direct Debits would attract a smaller monthly charge
  • Charge would only cover administration & ensure that fans paying up front are not subsidising instalment payments of others….

that don't tell us the prices :icon_roll but from what he has said is a piss take :icon_evil,how can some season tickets go up and not other's :102:

thats just wank.

If all the fans stood together and refused to buy ST, I would think the club would have to look at the pricing policies, rather than just take us for granted that we will buy whatever the price and what division we are in.

Re: Trust AGM - Season Ticket Prices

If all the fans stood together and refused to buy ST...

Taking the decision is the hardest thing to do. Once you've managed to stick to it, it becomes easier. And throughout the season it becomes more and more obvious that you have done the right thing.

My life hasn't suffered because I'm no longer a season-ticket holder. Some aspects of it have improved

I'm still a City fan!! I still go to matches. But I am in control of my spending now and I feel better for it.

this is definately the route i want to take.

No Boc what I mean is getting a protest started.
If all the ST holders witheld from buying for next season, that would hit the clubs cashflow as they rely on early ST monies. Leave buying until say a week or so before the start of the season or even later. That would make the club think a bit more.
These bullshit statements giving cryptic clues to price hikes will have to stop. IMO after watching this seasons offering of shite they should not even be thinking of raising the ST costs.

I think we should start a protest

I would'nt mind betting that the season tickets will rise in the Kop and East stand mainly. At a normal game with no cheap promotions, the kop and the west stand are the most populated. The West stand which is over priced already is mainly empty. If price increases are made in the West stand it would be even less full. I suspect that the loyal fans who mainly fill the Kop and East stand week in and week out will be the ones who are
hit the hardest as usual.
