The way to do this could work in two parts

Part one ,

As the players come out just before kick off ,don't clap or cheer and turn round and show them your backs .

Part two ,

a sit in at the end of the game till we get someone out like MM and Ollie and the players just let them know how we feel.

Part one is the most idiotic suggestion I have ever read. Whats it got to do with the players?

I give up.

A lot. If we were at the top of the table playing well then most of us wouldn't think about quibbling over ST pricing for next season.

Seems an ultra simplistic view, they arent asking the board to increase ST prices. Dont see how turning it on the players during one of the most crucial periods of our history will result in anything positive at all.

dead right Duzza, its about the club and its pricing policy for the 2008-2009 season.

mind you if the useless wankers had performed a few times more, we would not be debating this issue.

A question to my fellow TBers

Why have i lost most of my desire to go down and watch Leicester anymore?

Unless i attend one of the last 3 home games, this will be the first season since the late 70's that i will not have been to a game.
I'm trying to fathom why i no longer have the passion for it, when deep down i'm a huge city fan that gets as pissed off as anyone when we are struggling.
I used to be a regular ST holder that travelled to most away games.
Then i just renewed the ST but stopped going away. After that the ST went and i became more selective with games. And in recent times i have only been down on an handful of occasions. This season.......nothing. Not even a promotional offer could tempt me.
Is this an age thing:102::icon_conf . The club as many will remember had some dismal years between mid 80's to early 90's but it never stopped me. I just dont really know what it will take to rekindle my interest:102:. And all this talk about ST rises further fuels my desire to stay away. After the bollox that you regulars have witnessed i regard it as an insult.

It's because we're shit.

As Ben Elton said on the Young Ones: "If the kids are united they will never be divided!"

Which is what I said.

Cheapest Adult Tickets:
2005/2006 - North/South Stand Adult: £299 + 5% discount for early renewal + 10% loyalty discount = £254.15
2006/2007 - North/South Stand Adult: £299 + 5% discount for early renewal = £284.05 (12% increase on previous season)
2007/2008 - North/South Stand Adult: £322 (13% increase on previous season)

Are you sure about all of these prices? I am convinced that there was still a 'loyalty discount' for the current season.

That'll probably be the 'TeamCard' points!

Are you saying that existing season ST holders had to pay the same as new people this season? I am sure there was a difference in price.

No, I was making a sarcastic comment that the 'TeamCard' points will probably be deemed to be sufficient as a loyalty reward for next season.

The prices Leigh quotes are what I've paid, and are definitely the cheapest available adult STs (excluding this season's 'limited availability dirt cheap corner seats'). Whether this season's price included a loyalty discount I can't recall, but I'm sure there wasn't an early renewal discount.

When the prices are put like that the idea of another price hike really starts to look like taking the piss.

this season we had the classic prise if you re-newed before the cut off date ,saved us about £30 i think .

:icon_wink

from what i recall if you renewed before a certain date (june 16th i think) the price was £322 for a so called classic ticket, after the renewall date you paid the same as someone buying a new season ticket.

So where do their wages come from?

I wouldn't mind paying more money to see good quality players giving it their all, week in week out, but when asked to pay more to see the odd decent performance in amongst a season full of dross played out by a bunch of clueless tossers who don't give a flying f***, then I would lay some of the blame at their door, along with their agents.

There is also the fact that someone keeps on having to pay out contracts that pisses me off too. Why should the fans have to fork out for the apparent mismanagement of our club?

On all seasons there has been a difference between Classic/Premium (having a ST for 3-4 years) and Standard tickets, that could be seen as a loyalty discount but the previous years have also had specificly named 'loyalty discount' for all renewals (not just those renewing after 3-4 years).
