I've had one since the O'Neill days and I have the entire first team from the relegation season tattooed on my penis. I'm a bigger fan. I'm also 15stone so physically able to Joey Barton you.

Sounds like I'm safe, you'll be too busy tripping over your appendage.
 
Anybody got theirs yet - can't believe we are into the new season and less than 6 days before our first home game and I've still not received ours - bloody joke as is the trying to ring the ticket office - sort it out Top
 
Already a thread about this. It amazes me how people get their knickers in a twist over season tickets arriving - as long as everyone gets them before Saturday does it really matter?!?!:102::icon_bigg
 
I received mine this morning. I'm pretty ****ed off as it's now taking up valuable table space, I don't even need the thing until bloody Saturday!!

it does when I'm travelling down to Leicestershire from Blackpool on Wednesday for the week - what am I supposed to do if they come on Thursday

They started to arrive on Friday/Saturday.

For the record mine hasn't arrived yet. Who knows how they've been sent out, but I do know there is over 14,000 of them. As YV says be patient. The club have put instructions on the website on what to do if they haven't arrived by Thursday.

They still might turn up before you go, if not ring them up and explain Im sure they'll sort something out for you:icon_wink
 
Not only has there already been a thread but also there is an article on the OS about it and a story in the Mercury (in print and online). The tickets have now been sent out and should arrive by Wednesday. To repeat the advice given by the club - If season ticket holders still do not have their tickets by August 10, they should call the club on 0844 815 5000.

Calling them before your postman has been on Wednesday will help nobody. The ticket office will simply tell you to give the postman a chance to do his job and invite you to ring again after he has called on Wednesday. They have plenty of other work to do without having to deal with precipitate callers.

I'll have to - just don't fancy spending an hour on the phone waiting to get through as per usual - I suppose I could nip over to the ground on Thursday/Friday with my receipt

Ha-ha. I note that the article with the altered date was posted on Friday 5th - and it says that the Ticket Office staff will soon be in the process of sending them out in the post. The postman must have been sharp on his toes though because some season ticket holders received theirs the previous day.
 
My mum and dad got theirs at the weekend but for the wrong seat, when they rang up apparently 60 odd other people received tickets with the same seat, so I think it might be a tight fit!
 
No, they aren't needed until Saturday, unless like one poster they are travelling down to Leicester from far away before the weekend.

That is not really the point though. The tickets should have been dispatched well in advance of the start of the new season and not left until the last minute.

A similar scenario is I suppose a package holiday. You pay well in advance but usually receive your tickets at least two weeks before you travel.

It really shouldn't be beyond the club to organise itself better rather than leave things this late.

I am sure the Club could tell you what has caused the delay, but to be fair to them this is a new system. It is not the same as just contacting the printer and saying '15,000 books of tickets, same as last year, files attached'.

There will be have been a fairly long lag time of sourcing the best 'bar code reader/software supplier', agreeing prices and delivery/installation times, as well as the plastic card printer and confirming procedures for file details types etc to be sent to them.

Basically if they only decided a couple of months ago to switch systems, they could be struggling to get it all in place and delivered way ahead of Saturday.
 
mine was on the mat when i got back from Cov, complete with a £5 off voucher for Fossils and Foxes, which i already have. So if anyone wants the voucher its all yours.
