I am sure the Club could tell you what has caused the delay, but to be fair to them this is a new system. It is not the same as just contacting the printer and saying '15,000 books of tickets, same as last year, files attached'.
There will be have been a fairly long lag time of sourcing the best 'bar code reader/software supplier', agreeing prices and delivery/installation times, as well as the plastic card printer and confirming procedures for file details types etc to be sent to them.
Basically if they only decided a couple of months ago to switch systems, they could be struggling to get it all in place and delivered way ahead of Saturday.
