The people in charge of replacing him need to actually consider what it is they want from a manager. A good interview or someone that's 'been on our radar' for a while won't do.

If we end up with Allardyce then fine but it needs to be for the right reasons.

What I can be sure is that it won't be as left field as Ranieri and it definitely won't be on a par with Southampton getting Pocchetino or Hull bringing Silva to England, which is a shame.
