I sincerely hope that several of the precious little darlings are pissed off. Otherwise it would mitigate much of the point of sacking him.

The manager as your best mate era needs to end.

We've now got a very large squad of players, if a few of them want to throw their toys out of the pram, it's all for the best.

They've hardly been playing for their manager anyway.

Haha. I bet it ****ing hasn't...didn't stop you playing like a bunch of half arsed shitbirds did it? If any of them want to leave, they are welcome to at this point.

I bet Musa,Slimani, Nacho, and one or two others will be delighted with the fresh start.

Why do clubs make these massive decisions without having a replacement? Absolutely ridiculous.

What can I do about it? I don't pick the manager. I don't pick the team. I don't pick the tactics.

If I can see a shit show brewing and a manager out of his depth, it's not disloyal to earn a few quid out of it.

Of course I'd rather we were up the league and beating the likes of Bournemouth and WBA. A little compensation for watching shite like we were served up last night is no bad thing.
Brown Nose I dont think Shakey had much say in the player selection, yes I agree we were stagnating the fact is whoever we appoint as the manager needs to have to total control! The board are a fecking shambles and IMO are just as responsible for this.
For those out there wanting Allardyce do me a favour and put the crack pipe down I want a manager who is expansive and has ambition rather than the same old merry go round mediocre manager that will get us mid table at best. If Shakey had of stayed we still would not have been relegated just hope and pray we appoint a decent manager who will move us forward someone in the mould of Pochetino will do nicely.

Nowt official yet then? Hopefully we haven't arsed this up too.

And you rate them as players?

Generally the defence has held up this season, even with Huth out. The problem has been the weakness of the midfield in terms of breaking down attacks and actually trying to play the ball forwards accurately. Hopefully a new manager will address this issue. Has scary git, assistant, gone as well?

Juding by the **** up with Silva that is not likely to improve!

Shakespeare sacked. He will point to the sale of Drinkwater (against his wishes) & Silva mess.

Drinky wanted to leave and made it very clear so it didn't matter it was against his wishes or anyone else's for that matter. Same as Mahrez would have gone if anyone wanted him at the price we wanted for him. £30 million for Danny wasn't something you could turn down.

I hope it hasn't been, And I hope the new manager has an authoritarian streak and comes in and kicks them all up the arse. I never want to hear again what formation the players want. The team needs strong management. They don't need another mate or a top bloke.
