Is there anyone available who's a complete bastard? Someone who'll come into the dressing room & say " I don't give 2 shits what any of you want. You'll eat what i tell you, play the formation I tell you or you can **** off. & btw...if you think anyone remotely decent will want to buy you on the back of the shite you've been serving up lately, well good luck with that. Now shut your holes & get on that ****ing training pitch. You're a bastard shambles" If so sign him up now as it's the only way forward. If these slacking ****s want to play Billy Big Bollocks they can do it on the ****ing pitch not in the dressing room. All of this has just revealed them to be small time wankers letting one big achievement go to their heads. Reminds me of all those 60s/70s rock stars that made shitloads of money & bought country estates so they could go hunting shooting & fishing to try & mimic the upper classes. ****ing pathetic.

You've won my vote. Give this one the job.

No uproar yet on which players have posted on social media and which haven’t?

Here’s one

Is it bad that I'm not feeling too bad about all of this? Winning that big shiny thing has really taken the edge off of football for me.

At the time of us winning the league I said I would be happy regardless of what the future brings.

But now I can't help but feel the complete opposite. I would say that winning the title has made events since even harder to accept.

It's funny; I feel quite the opposite to you. We're back to where I feel comfortable. We're back to where we should be; where we always were. But I have the added of knowing what was always a fantasy was just for once a reality.

The pressure is off. Normality is all around.

I read that the players weren’t told until after the sacking. Very interesting that.
Pity - they should have been told before Shakey was dismissed to win some ****ng games, otherwise their mate would get the sack... or are they really so thick that they didn't realise this is was inevitable?

I agree it's where we always were but disagree that it's where we should be. We've always underachieved. Watching the Sheep & Trees win league titles while we managed a best placed 7th during the same period was always baffling to me. Of course now we know it was down to the utter lack of ambition of the board who treated the club as little more than a hospitality suite for their parochial business interests. We should probably have won the title at least once during the 60s & once during the 70s. But we didn't.

Mancini does not take prisoners in the dressing room.

I am sad for him as he seems a decent bloke. However, the failure to win against poor quality players at Bournemouth and home to West Brom were unacceptable
.

The results were very poor but the football played was worse. It was as clear as it could be that things are seriously wrong. Even the Mercury was starting to notice it. Now is the acid test - the owners can carry out a complete review and effect a re-structure or they can plan to fail by just installing a new fall guy. Easy to say but difficult to do with the season underway. The rot has gone a long way since May 2016 - players given OTT rewards; ego's boosted; terrible recruitment; the Silva fiasco.

Out, vile jelly.

Well I never like to see people sacked, but CS should never really have been appointed. At the time there seems to have been a malaise at the club, probably been there for years. We got so lucky with Claudio that anyone appointed after would have had difficulties, similar to after the Pearson fiascos. I hope we get a "football" manager, even if he cant speak english, it wont really matter because players seen unable or unwilling to listen anyway.
Good teams need good players ie can pass, tackle, head, shoot and move into spaces for each other, with attitude and effort.
Good teams need a manager who commands respect and can coach and improve skills and identify strengths, weaknesses and personal relationships and combine them with tactical awareness to bring the best out of all the players.
I'm afraid CS was not remotely up to the job, but there are experienced managers out there at the moment, some have seemingly failed, some I would not be happy to see are Alladyce, Pardew, Strachan, Pearson, Moyes plus the countless failures currently unemployed.

Mr Rudkin, could I see you please?

Outside of whether or not we feel Mr Shakey should have been sacked, I do hope Mr Rudkin is also hauled over many coals.
