Because we'll need 6 points minimum from the last 4 games. In all probability, Stoke away will be lost. Simply cannot see us winning 2 games out of next 3. All 3 will be massive pressure games. Too much pressure to put form together that we've not managed all season.

Best case scenario, we may win 1, draw 1 and lose 1.

If we were playing mainly mid table teams like last year, maybe. But we're not. Last year we took 6 points from the last 4 games in much easier matches pressure-wise. This lot bottle it at the best of times.

Pray I'm wrong but I don't think I am.

Well said, but its not 'well and truly down'.

I know what you mean but i think we have been in that possition before.

At 6 tonight i will feel the same as you.

When sides have games in hand and we have only 4 to play, its getting desparate. I hinestly thought we had a great opportunity today, but once again the players have folded under the pressure.
Very, very poor.

They didn't bottle it against Scunny.

Last year's matches were just as much pressure as this year. We were deep in the shit then as well no matter what the table showed at the end of the year.

And we've just won 2 out of 3 games, and have done so on a couple of occasions since Christmas I think.

This result is a nightmare, but nothing is done and dusted.

**** it, i do actually agree with you BB, we are looking worse than ever at the moment.

Pricks the lot of them.

Another sad case of a referee being let down by a totally inadequate linesman. I am sure that Kisnorbo's card will be cancelled as soon as the video is seen.

Stearman doing his best to get sent off as well. Mattock looks nackered and very exposed. We are awful. I think Nottingham has gone home.

It is still in our own hands.
Hard to say, but as long as the players don't throw their hands in as easy as some of the "fans" on here do, then we will be okay. :icon_cool

I don't think we're 'well and truly down' at all.

Look at the next 3 games, Colchester and Sheff Wed at home, and Barnsley away in the middle. We really really should win at least 2 of those, and if we don't then we don't deserve to stay up anyway.

As much as this is a bit of a disaster so far, it's those games which will decide whether we stay up or not.

Eight of the remaining ten appear to have done so!

JB reckons that having watched a slow motion replay of the penalty incident that there was NO contact whatsoever and that the linesman got it totally wrong :098:

if the red card is rescinded it will be the second time for kisnorbo this season - also because of that we again lost 3 points - the refs really do need help on the field so this does not happen particularly when so much is riding on the result

agreed, it's all down to the home games as it always was..

I take your point, but it didn't cause Henderson to chuck another one into his own net and leave Beattie totally unmarked from a corner did it?
