Great win today, but where does that leave us ? With ourselves going to Stoke on the last day and our rivals having decent looking home games, how do you view next weeks home game against Sheff W?
A win and we are safe.
A draw keeps us 2pts infront of SW.
If we draw that leaves

Stoke v Leicester
Sheff W v Norwich
Southampton v Sheff U

Will a draw be any good for us against SW?

It would depend on Norwich v QPR.

draw

if we did draw saturday and norwich lose to qpr, we wud be safe all but guaranteed due to the fact sheff wed play norwich last game of season, and our goal difference is far too greater than both sides with games to go, another positive! come on qpr, even if norwich win and we draw, barnsley wud have to get apoint from there final two games, which are charlton and cardiff away, but the point at the top is the main one, hopefuky we can win back to back games, ill be there cant wait, be a nice relief at the full time whistle i hope!

If we draw on saturday we will be above 5 other relegation rivals not including their 45th match. And surely one of those will lose both of their games. I have changed my mind one point will do it!

We are going to beat Wednesday to record our first back to back this season - FACT!

Another interesting possibility:

Stoke need 4 points to go up. They are away to Colchester on Saturday. If they win, and we draw with Sheff Wed, we will both need a point on the final day. Them for promotion and us for safety.

The more I look at it, the more a draw next week seems a decent fall back result.

We just cannot lose!

Two draws would not guarantee safety if Sheff Weds get a big enough win in their last match.

We should be making sure of our safety with a win on Saturday, and not relying on other teams.

A draw would definitely not be a disaster, but we still need to play for the win - what we must not do against Wednesday is to try too hard to get the win and end up flunking it.

I want a double double,
Two wins over Barnsley & two wins over Sheff weds .......

If there was ever a "must win" game, then surely the one at home, to a team in the bottom three, when you've only got two games left, the other away at a team going for automatic promotion, and you're are still in deep relegation danger, surely this is it.

100% agree ,its time for our first back to back win of the season .

I've got an outrageous suggestion. Why don't we go for three wins in a row and kick off next season's promotion campaign.

I have always thought we needed 4 points from the last two games - so I still think 1 more point would be enough.

However, I suspect that Wednesday will be looking for three points so I'm not sure the opportunity to play out a draw exists.
