What an absolute pearl of a strike. Wonderful.

That is ****ing stonker of a pass from Maddison for Vardy’s goal.

A 40 yard pass with the outside of the foot with almost no backlift and Vardy didn’t even need to break his stride or take a touch before shooting. Not many players in this league are capable of that! Makes it all the more frustrating to think of how many chances to play a Vardy in he wasted against Chelsea.

Well we made hard work of that one didn’t we? Happy with the win, but still a little concerned about how negatively we’re setting up in the first half of games, and the lack of chances we’re creating. The first half of each of our games this season have been very Puel-like.

We’ve had 6 shots on target in 3 which I’m presuming is one of the lowest in the league, but thankfully we seem to be able to convert them into goals.

Perez and Tielemans both pretty average once again. Was expecting more from Praet after last Saturday. Choudhury absolutely superb.

Totally agree. Weirdly we have changed what was working.

We got all that praise for how we played at Man City away last season and he’s stuck with it since, which I find odd we got praised Man City ripped us apart we just defended well

Just saw the goals. Great, both of them. Excellent finish that from Vardy. Tight angle and on his weaker side.

And I'm pretty sure that volley from Barnes is still travelling now. Wow.

How did Praet do? Came off quite early, was this due to fitness or performance, or just tactical to accommodate a change in shape?

How did Barnes do other than his goal?

I thought by and large we had that under control but then we relinquished control and looked a bit edgy. I hate it when teams

Perez will be fine, new team, new system it’s coming.

Overall Graz it looked a bit flat but 80 degrees doesn’t aid tempo.

Barnes didn’t do a lot besides his goal but he did unsettle their defence as they were fully aware of him from last season.

I didn’t really notice Praet yesterday I think he is still finding his feet so perhaps we will get a fairer view of him after about 10 games.

Maddison was magnificent yesterday. He has added workrate to his games and this is very clearly come from instruction.

Overall, I would say an ok performance but points away are points away.

Going by their manager’s comments on how he saw the game, some of the above posts are very harsh.

I hate it when teams (basically the city) try to protect one goal leads by going all defensive :001:

Sounded like we were trying hard to piss the win up the wall from 1-0
