There are a lot of roadworks going on round there at the moment, but
basically, cross Penistone Road and hit Green Lane (lots of building works
- I think they are converting Green Lane Works into apartments). Keep
walking and the Black Cat is on the LHS of Alma Street. It's not that
far.

We do - but that is the place. I got my Sunderlands and my Sheffields muxed ip when I asked the question, but Fenny has nevertheless directed us to the correct place.


Another u.l.y contributor suggests that anybody going to the Fat Cat should also pop into the Cask and Cutler right next to the Shalesmoor tram stop. There's also the Kelham Island Tavern between the C&C and the Fat Cat.

LB (Advance Party - aka Cheapskates) get kicked off the Megabus at about 11:55, so should be in The Fat Black Cat by 12:30.

Your point being?

It takes 9 minutes on the tram from the nearest stop to the Fat Cat to the nearest stop to the away end. Should be able to stay in there until 14:30 and still get in in time for the kick-off.
