We won't. His contract ran out and he's still to accept the six month offer of a contract (it's never been confirmed).
When the club offered him the contract the Mockery reported it as though the offer had been accepted, when it hadn't. A week or two later they said he was going to sign it that day, but there's been nothing from the club to say whether he did or not.
I don't know whether it's the sort of thing the club would tell us though. At the moment they seem far more interested in selling season tickets, new shirts, holidays and betting than reporting actual news.
I hope no one relies on the club's website to find out what's going on - or even worse, the laughably named "City E-Newsletter".
The latest edition of the newsletter makes no mention of NP leaving - even though it was sent out two days after he left. Instead it focuses on the important things - trying to sell us Sunderland tickets, new shirts, corporate hospitality, season tickets, books and kids coaching days.
Not one item of "news" in it, just advertising. It's been like that for some time, but they encourage people to sign up by saying it includes "the best of the week's news, interviews and features". Lying cheating spamming two faced tax dodging wankers.
