too right, kelly out
Oh no Joe that's not what I was implying, I for one think we should give Kelly at least one whole season in charge to see how he does but then again if we are in the same position by Christmas that we were in last Christmas then it may be time for him to go.

Ruthless lot. :icon_razz

All in all a poor performance and it was clear to see where we need strenghening, but there was nothing to play for apart from a higher league position.

Precisely why this game should be discounted from any serious analysis.

The year we got to the Swindon play-off final we lost the last game 7-1. The last two times we've been relegated from the Prem we won our last home games, despite winning only 4 or 5 others all season. Hell, the last time we got relegated we took Arsenal close in their unbeaten season!

End of season games do not mean a thing for future planning IMO.

Yep, Tiatto would run at people faster and harder & Sylla would take his alarm clock out onto the pitch (ala Flavor Flav) to keep awake

my apoligies for the lack of emoticons..

Sorry! My initial post was a bit harsh, the old red mist came over.

I am expecting the so idiots to come out shortly though especially if we sell a few players. Sometimes I think we have a proportion of really rubbish fans who expect everything immediatley..

Every team has idiot fans.

Or another way to look at it is this: Every team has fans that have opinions, it doesn't mean they are the same as ours or that we have to agree with them

Is it fair to call somebody an idiot for having a different view on things to you?

No excuse imo. We could have put down a marker and shown a potential rival for next season that we mean buisness. If the players couldn't be arsed then maybe a few of our younger reserves should have played, at least you would have seen a bit of desire. Yes, the game had nothing riding on it, but don't give me the bollox about players being tired, cos it didn't stop the likes of Stoke knocking 5 in yesterday.

At the very least they should think of the fans travelled to see them play

My thoughts exact. Its easy to spend £100 on a day like that. Petrol, ticket, parking, programme, food and drink and other things. Its not the defeat, its the manner of it that disappoints

I went to the game yesterday, with my baloons and i came away very dissappointed, tiatto was meant to be playing for his contract!!!! He was awful!! They did not look committed, I enjoyed it nevertheless as I do not get to many games!!

I think what has been fustrating has been the evidence that ever since we secured our place in the division, the performance levels have dipped alarmingly, I understand that the players will have been drained from the efforts in securing safety, but surely with the last few games as evidence I am a more than a little disappointed that RK didnt use these games to at least give a couple of youngsters a run out, in a way by continuing to pick his strongest line up available he has missed a valuable opportunity to blood some youngsters in games where the first team have looked jaded anyway.

I agree A-Z. Did it really matter whether we finished 14th or 20th. You don't get many chances to blood new players, and like you say a good opportunity missed.

Securing safety in a very mediocre division should not be draining for well paid, pro athletes.....or am I being over critical?

No, you are spot on. People lose sight that that these people are professionals. This is what they are paid to do.

We have to go to work everyday. We have the added pressure of providing for our families and ensuring we keep our jobs. These players never have that pressure, if they are not performing at their work, they sit on the bench. If they lose their jobs tomorrow for underperforming they can survive for a long long time without an income.

They have no pressure, they enjoy their life, they are not exhausted from playing 40ish games of football per year
