Re: Saints Post Match Thread

Just got home. I'm so miserable. I'm trying to think of something constructive to write, but I'm just so miserable...

Re: Saints Post Match Thread

I don't post on here hardly ever but I have been visiting these forums for years. I always leave the witty banter to the more knowledgeable Leicester Fans.

Like many of us, I have supported City my whole life (granted im only 30 so thats not really that long) but I don't think I have felt more dead after a game than tonight. Perhaps I felt worse after a play-off final loss, i'm not sure but at least we had a good season behind us to get to that point (and being at wembley was nice).

Our beloved football club is a laughing stock, I live in Nuneaton and have to put up with Cov Fans (whose plight isnt much better) taking the p*ss.

I feel sick about the plight of our beloved football team and im sick of feeling sick...

Re: Saints Post Match Thread

Bah, that's it. We are doomed. What a bag of shite. And thats the politest comment I can make.

I expect holloway will be gone tomorrow. I'm in two minds about it, theres the argument that we need stability, and he has done well before, and I agree with that. But there is also the argument, we are shit, and more than likely going down to the old third division for the first time in history. Someone needs to pay for that.

Good job I haven't got any rope in the house. I'm really fed up.

Well that tack obviously isn't working. You should post more often.

Yes it was me:icon_roll
All i can say is we are doomed:098:

I think your posts are unhinged and your style immensely irritating but........you are a real supporter and I admire you for trecking down to Southampton to take almost inevitable punishment. Still I'd put your money to better use in the future.

Re: Saints Post Match Thread

We're driving the same road we have always been on since Holloway took over. I, along with a small selection of others read the signs a while back, when we first started out on this journey in fact, so I know the expected route. This must be a big surprise to those who drive around with their lights off.

Precisely.

Why are so many people taken in by a manager who largely plies his trade on the back of childish quips?

Is it because they feel comfortable with him on the basis that he is 'at the level of an average supporter'.

I think he would make a great poster on this forum, but he doesn't have the weight to be Leicester manager - and quite obviously he is being turned over by all and sundry in the division.

To be honest Melts that was about the easiest prediction ever - Leicester have a new manager: he will fail.

But congrats on the first "told you so", you must be thrilled. :icon_wink

Re: Saints Post Match Thread

what are the odds for us being relegated?

11-10 (third favourites) on Betfair but you can only have a couple of quid at that price.

Re: Saints Post Match Thread

3 homes games against Sheff Weds, Scunny and Colchester, these are 9 points we have to again anything less and good bye to the championship

Re: Saints Post Match Thread

i can now see how other clubs must view us. we must look like a club with no soul from the outside. new stadium with no atmosphere so nobody will be scared to come and play us. we robbed our manager off a 'smaller' club in a bid to put things right quickly. our chairman is seen as a lunatic by most who is far from trustworthy and inspirational, this is proved by the bungs he was meant to be involved in. and god knows how many players have come and gone in the last three years. now, which of the clubs around us in the table will be thinking 'theyll be okay, its leicester there a good club.' ?

Ha! Genius!

Re: Saints Post Match Thread

Sacking the manager or not won't make much difference to this season, I think Holloway will turn it around, but that's based purely on gut instinct, so hardly concrete. However I think he has lost the majority of the fans and MM, so whilst Davies is available I would probably make the switch, simply because if we go down with Holloway we will be full of what if's.
