Perhaps not but when spurs were 2-0 up you had to expect a heavy beating which wouldnt have helped the situation.

Congrats to the team they worked hard in the 2nd half.

1st half I was shouting close them down and they wasnt frustrating.

2nd half the opposite we was winning the ball back in their half and closing them down, the workrate was doubled and it paid off, MDV did well with loads of lay offs and I thought hughes and smith were both class, maybury looked shaky but luckily he had less to do towards the end.

Just got home. De Vries was outstanding! It's about time he got a start, and what a game to make an impression. Him and Hammond were simply fantastic, if we can do that against one of the best sides in the UK then we can surely do it against other Championship sides.

Even after we had won, I still heard a couple of chavvy lads behind me shouting "De Vries's goal was a fluke" and "Hume would have bagged 4 easy".

All in all, a brilliant night!

De Vries goal was definitely not a fluke but how many times have you seen it come off his shin in to the hands of the keeper. Very cool finish but would have thought Robinson could have got a hand to it, to me it was quite obvious which corner he was gonna put it in

We came out in the second half with the formation and attitude we should have started the game with IMO and got a fantastic result.

Taking off Hamill after 35 mins was a great piece of management by Levein -though you could argue he was only correcting his own errors - let's hope this gives him and the players the confidence to climb the league....

I keep thinking I'm going to wake up and find I've dreamt that result!

I so wish I could have gone to the game now but at least I've sky +'d it so I can watch it again and again!!

Lets give CL credit for the substitution, it definitely changed the game. Cut out the threat of lennon and leicester just started to play better. A last minute winner for us as well. Things looking up????? The tide changing!!! lets hope so!

Just got home, all in all a great game, the only negatives where that I thought Rab looked shaky as per and Maybury seemed to keep getting sucked into the middle, they could have had a few more if they'd taken their one-on-ones.
I'm normally the first one to berate MDV, but couldn;t fault his performance tonight, very classy.
Good shout taking Hamill off, he looks out of his depth.

WHEN THE MATCH STARTED I SAW it was 4-5-1 i though oh crap CL has gone out damage limitation hammil was awful but then i applaud him immendsly for putting hammond on after 35!

stearman was fantasince hope he dosent go in the window paddy mac superb captain armband is his maybury did well not to get sent off up against arron leenon super quick.

smith showed quality when he got the ball things happpened

hughes & joey poor 1st half got into the game mopre hughes in paticular tracked back well and power shot!

williams nice 1st half dwindled a bit in the 2nd class passes though

and hammond hassled all game kept posseson and NO OFFSIEDS

MDV OUTSTANDING i am one of his critics not with performances like that superb every time the ball comes to him its citys posseson briiliant on his chest great finish

CL keeps his job now continue like that in the league mdv & hammond and maybe hume in the centere for williams/hughes
