Matt Heath #6?

No Stearman/Petrescu?

I think they planned to give Williams the number 6 but thought "oh no, he used to play for Forest!" so changed it to 16 ;) I thought Canero or Tiatto might've got number 6. Heath's a better option than some though, wouldn't have wanted someone like Jason Wilcox, or someone on a one year deal to take Muzzy's shirt!

i think muzzys shirt should be retired!

how come there is no stearman, petrescu etc. also how come there is a gap between 11-16

I heard they might use players weight for squad numbers but it was scrapped when they realised 44 was going a bit too high for Pressman.

if your going to retire izzets no. 6 shirt surely Sir walshies no.5 should be retired before, far better hero to have than izzet for me!

i'm not in favour of getting american about this. football has a tradition of starting players wearing 1 through 11 so it would be stupid to start retiring numbers IMO. in US sports then large squads with numbers from 1 to 99 are common so it's okay to retire a jersey or two every now and again.
