In a roundabout way because it's the off-season it's expected, but I don't think it's good a 18 and 17 year old on the cusp of gaining professional contracts decided to getting near on smashed in view of many, many city fans. Not of all were related to them aswell.

I don't get why people keep saying things like this. Footballers, like anybody else, are quite within their rights to enjoy themselves. Especially during the off-season.
And i bet most people on here were drinking before the legal age.

The legal age for drinking alcohol in this country is five. Although I suspect some of the people here were drinking well before they reached that age.

As I'd said it's expected but I don't think it's appreciated when you're a guest of someone and that 95% of the people there are strangers.

Yes, I'm sure no one on here has ever gate-crashed a private party in their lives - or got a little bit tiddly in the course of doing so (when over the age of five, of course)
It really is a scandal - you'll be telling me next that some of these so-called footballers visit casinos in their spare time........

I haven't viewed it in a negative view. It's expected it's the off season. I just disagree that two lads in view of people what half pay the wages of them, see em drunk when they have their whole careers ahead of them.
It's like Tony Blair pissing your taxpayers money on a holiday to Cancun.
