Walshy a worthy candidate in my mind.
A Walsh's celebration statue would make me smile a little more whenever I walk up to the ground.

Cannot see how Walsh attains legend status worthy of a statue. On that basis you would have to include Elliot, Izzet, Lennon and Tim Flowers!
I know what he meant, but I think if he gets a statue anywhere it should be here, because he spent more time here than anywhere else. Lineker did the same, but BN thinks he should have a statue. I don't see the difference between the two. Both from Leicester, and both excelled for England.

:thumbs_upThe guy on Blaarev's avatar would get my vote. I'm not saying though that any player to get a statue should be dead.
We already had that statue, mainly in our reserve team, from 2001-2004.I can't wait for the unveiling of the Junior Lewis statue.

Nathan Blake, Nicholas Priet and David Bell all worthy candidates IMHO.
Walsh 369 appearances, 53 goals 'Captain Fantastic'
Izzet 269 appearances, 38 goals
Elliott 245 appearances, 26 goals
Lennon 170 appearances, 6 goals
Flowers 54 appearances, 0 goals
And that's just based on stats. I love them all, but it's definitely worthy of a different status

I don't see a case for anyone else to be honest. Banks and Lineker statues on the concourse area at the entrance to the stadium would be appropriate and very nice to see.

I'd like to see a statue of Homer, Alex and Miles in a compromising position, while Joe_Fox looks on, creating a spreadsheet.
I sincerley hope that it's not of the scratch 'n sniff variety. There will always be argument over which of our 'heroes' should be honoured in this way. Let's not forget that it is the fans that are the lifeblood of any team, not the 'passing-through' players even if they were born here.
For that reason, there can really only be one choice for the statue.
Ladies and gentlemen, I propose............... BERNIE :icon_bigg
