Fresh beef - as in freshly killed - has a fairly unpleasant texture. I guess a living cow would too.

I prefer the tinned veggie steaks you can get from Holland and Barratt but I haven't seen any recently :icon_sad:

Have you had the mock duck from there webbo? drain, cut into bite size pieces and cook in stock with button mushrooms and water chestnuts. serve on rice or noodles. blinding

WELL DONE

and by well done I mean not an ounce of redness when you cut into it. A big, fat well done steak, a boat load of thick, dark gravy, a plate full of crispy steak fries and a bottle of chef sauce..... mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
