He's not the best defensive midfielder though that's my point!! I was referring to your your quote in relation to beighton's comment :icon_roll

He may have performed well this season surround by quality players, just the same as how Makelele is glamourised in that position at Chelsea.

I've seen him play a lot this season and he's no more than average at best, he couldn't get in a struggling Spurs side for 9 years then couldn't get in the Blues side when they were in the prem.

Obviously the 'whoever shouts loudest is right' mentality on here means I'm not, but that's my opinion
