If he went on to win a cup this season, and finish top half of the table, it wouldn’t be enough for some people.

Before the season started, the aim was not to get relegated.
Many seemed to accept this.

When we didn’t get the points deduction, people’s mindset switch has been flipped.

We have NO devine right to beat anybody.

We have to re-establish ourselves in this league, so our priority still remains the same, survival.

Despite what we, the supporters think, we weren’t such an attractive option for a football manager.

[before anyone says, that is not a play on words].

Steve Cooper, is here, and so far so good. Yes it could be better, but it could also be a lot worse.

That’s football for you!

Whilst I agree with most of the above, we are undoubtedly a much more attractive prospect for a manager without the point deduction.

If you don't believe that had an impact on our managerial choice you are living in cloud cuckoo land.

However, I don't see a huge advantage in replacing Cooper at this moment in time as we aren't doing terrible and a change in manager would mean a another reset of everything.

Our bigger issue is still the contracts we give to players and any manager in charge will be severely restricted in what they can do due to the amount of players we have and how much we pay them.

Some would still moan that Ricardo didn’t play in the cup final winning performance.

I honestly think that saying stuff like this demeans the point you’re making. This also applies to the “other side” of the ongoing, tiresome, debate.

It wasn’t enough for some that we won the league last season and got nearly 100pts.

This idea there is a vendetta against SC is predominately by those trying to justify their comments last season.

I’d argue the majority of fans just want the club to win, regardless of the manager. Everyone certainly cheered the win last week and hopefully we’ll get to cheer lots more.

Well there actually wouldn't be any

****'s sake, must be Wibble o'clock when all the ****wits come out to play
It's the irony that gets me. All those ****s moaning last season when we were winning and top of the league now saying shit like this.

It's wibble of the Danny Mills type.

It’s a sad state of affairs when some supporters don’t want the team, they supposedly support, to win, because whom the manager is.

But there is literally nobody on here or anywhere that has ever said that, ever (well, maybe the ****wit did last season when Maresca was in charge)

Where the **** are you getting this wibbling horseshit from?

Hmmmmm….
