its about time he left burnley, he needed to move to a bigger club, hopefully he comes here

But in fairness he also does pretty well with Burnley and has firmly established them in this division. Given bigger resources could do really well at this level. Still a young up coming manager but with decent experience at this level would be a good appointment IMO, far better than any other realistic candidates.
 
If he is lined up for us what timing, with the Burnley game at the weekend.

Most likely the reason he has resigned, won't be in charge for saturday IMO but at least will be in the stands to observe.
