Most likely the reason he has resigned, won't be in charge for saturday IMO but at least will be in the stands to observe.

I see Mandaric has gone from 'will be here for Saturday' to 'Im not 100% sure he'l be here for Saturday'

I could see Cotterill having no problems with working along side Burrows and Taggs too.

:038:

FFS, this guy has signed Ade Akinbiyi TWICE!!!!

I would rather we kept Taggs/Burrows than bring in Cotterill, and I really dont want us to have Taggs/Burrows.

..... and made a profit on him. :icon_wink

Who happens to be better than any of our forwards and has probably scored more league goals than all of them added together!

Horses for courses.

Keegan has never signed Akinbiyi.

Milan?

Milan...

I said, Kevin has never signed Ade Akinbiyi. He's who I'd want.

Milan?

Are you even listening?

As with most of the other "options" I have mixed feelings, not overly excited but probably could be persuaded.

Yeah and got the best out of him FFS, he is a decent manager with a good record at this level with a side with limited resources better option than any of the serious contenders mentioned.

How?

What would it take to persuade you?

If it doesn't involve drugs, alcohol, a bevy of lovelies and an ice cream truck then I'm out.

Cot'tril has achieved nothing of note and has a woeful season thus far. MM has stated he wants experience - and Stevey-baby ain't it.

And who the fcuk are we going to attract, Cotterill did a fantastic job at Cheltenham and has done well in turning Burnley into an established championship side. He knows this division inside out, is still young and has a fairly decent CV and if he does come here is prepared to work for the mad one, compared to Peter Fecking Reid this would be a real result.

Compared to Peter Reid, the appointment of Disco Bob would be a result.....

I'm sorry but this is getting really depressing.

Here we are: we have no creativity; we can't score goals; we can't win matches.....so what is to be done: right we appoint Steve Cotterill arch- advocate of mind numbing defensive football who comes here on the back of 1 win in 10 or something like that.

What's this decent CV then P F? There once was a time when to base argument on the back of success with ble-ding Cheltenham Town for appointing a City manager would have been regarded as funny - now it's just sad.

Someone mentioned David Brent. I definitely want David Brent.
