Hi,

First post and a little shameless, but thought you might be interested in reading Steve Walsh's weekly blog.

It's on Soar Magazine's website, but I can't post the link as this is my first post.

This week, Walshy discusses the signing of Nobby Solano, last Saturday's launch of the club's 125 exhibition and Robbie Savage being hit on the nose whilst commentating at the Villa vs West Ham game.

Hope you enjoy the read. Many thanks,

Soar Magazine.

Why be like that Jeff? People on here might actually like to know about this.

If this is anything like the Mercury one then it will just be him going on about how amazing he was.

I loved Walshie as a player, but he isn't half a big headed ****.

Jeff pays a lot of money to run this site. Why should other people advertise things which will earn them money without Jeff getting some thing in return? That is the answer at its simplest.

never heard of him

Can he play right back?

I'm sure it's been mentioned before, but I didn't delete it in case anyone didn't already know and was interested.

What annoys me is the way people think the rules don't apply to them. I make it VERY clear as part of the registration process that anyone who posts an advert as their first post will be banned, whether it will be of interest to fans or not.
They should ask me for permission, not ignore the rules that they'd just agreed to when they signed up.

That's absolutely true, but you shouldn't forget that this site is based on Leicester city football club. Without it this site wouldn't exist and would serve no purpose. Therefore even though this poster was advertising something - it was relevant to the site and useful to the sites contributors.

I personally haven't clicked on the link because I don't really care what Walshy has to say, but if I did (as many do) then I would be glad to know of this podcast.

All fair enough, but lets not scare off potential new posters by 'shouting' at them as soon as they arrive. Foxpodder surely signed up to promote his podcasts, and I have also known him to contribute on topics.

What the **** does that have to do with anything?
So, you're saying that if LCFC didn't exist, Jeff wouldn't be spending his own cash to run this site (not a cheap venture) so therefore anybody wanting to advertise something vaguely related to LCFC should be allowed to disregard the rules?

Bizarre logic working there Fox Fan

I think the logic is sound. For this board to work it requires contributions of interest about the football club. I thought this was of interest and so in my opinion this thread had some merit being here.

I think people forget that for the majority of people this site isn't a social forum, but rather one of gaining information regarding lcfc. Certainly that's how I see it. So I would rather read this post 10x than hear how Highland fox is supposedly gay.

It my opinion and I'm not forcing you to agree with it. But I think its fair and reasoned.

I think it's utter nonsense. It's great that we're different though.

A dodgy fansite fawning over Walshy is not exactly related to the club and besides, I think 'this board' will do just fine without it

'majority'??? Have you conducted a poll? And good luck with your gaining of information regarding LCFC. I think you'll find it mostly consists of people just posting their own bullshit opinions. How could it be anything else?

So you'd rather read about some tosspot's gay site about sucking Steve Walsh's socks than conversation between adults taking the piss out of each other as they would if they were in the pub together? Each to their own I s'pose.

It my opinion and I'm not forcing you to agree with it. But I think its fair and reasoned.

I think it's clear that I think it's complete bollocks, but as I said, it's great that we're different. I couldn't be like you.

Is it me or is just a little bit sad that Steve Walsh seems to rely on what he was and not what he is or might be? :102:
